Aswad, thank you for acting the gentleman, i do appreciate it. As to your question about been cheery, it is not a matter of being cheery, it is a matter of knowing that there are a few on here, that regardless of what i post or how i post it, they will find fault with it. ;) my having s'mores is my way of saying it will not bother me at all. Aside from the fact that her posts are often contraditory, that one quote, truly in my opinion, put this site at great risk. Nothing at all may come of it, but i do not like that the risk existed because of her poorly chosen words. i like this site very much.

It reminds me of a story of a lady who watched a couple of really drunk guys go into a store and purchase more alcohol...She also watched one of the guys make unwanted advances to his daughter...They drunk guys proceeded to get behind the wheel with the two young girls in tow...What did she do?...Call the cops....No!!!! She followed them home!...Just so she could witness the gore of the accident up close!!! It probabaly would have been a better fate for the girls than the raping that ocurred once they reached their destination.

If she was that upset, emailing the mods and posting an opinion to the offensive post seems much more suitable of an approach to me...but that is just how I would have handled it, I am not one much to beat around the bush, and if I find something outrageous I tend to take it up at the time, not a week later. Now it is not our job to moderate this board, and if we do not like what is allowed here, perhaps we shouldn't come? Actually julia, you make some very valid points. i did dance around it. Now i can offer an explanation, but that would be seen as an excuse. You have a way of putting people down in a very nice manner. i truly do not mean that as a compliment. However, i will not make excuses for myself. And simply repeat, you made some very valid points. Julia, if that wasn't a flame... then i do not know what one is. If you do not like what i write, by all means use that little block button. It's there for a reason. :)

I was not attempting to put you down, I was attempting to illustrate something to you. I am far from perfect myself, and people have demonstrated that to me one too many times for my comfort or my liking.. now one can decide how they want to read something, as an insult or if there is a learning opportunity in it .. that choice is an individual choice... we can always endeavor to do better.... I keep reminding myself of something... every day I get to choose whether or not I will let something offend me... and being that this is a new concept for me, I am still taking baby steps toward the goal of choosing never to be offended, not there yet, may never get there, but it is all about the process, not the goal Now my ego is not dependent upon your compliments, just like yours is not dependent on my opinion... so its all good.

i doubt i will get an answer, but daddysprop if you are still here, what was the purpose of your disclosing information about your mental incompetancy and becoming a ward of your master legally. Did you get permission from him to post it since it included him in something many feel very uncomfortable about? Maybe i am just a suspicious, paranoid person but when someone admits "mental incompetance" then posts on and on about being unable to leave, real abuse they don't enjoy but endure, having things set up so that it is impossible for you to ever get away, being put through so much in the beginning you actually considered suicide... etc how can you not realistically expect others to have serious concerns/doubts/questions/problems, issues etc with what you post? Could it be a cry for help? Could it be a cry for attention? You tell us, maybe domiguy will sleep better tonight if he knows [&:]

Honestly, Julia... if i simply explained why i posted this thread the way i did, wouldn't you (and probably a few others) have called it an excuse? i have been called self-righteous by some of the most self-righteous hypocrites on this board. With the exception of one, i have not slammed, demeaned or attempted to humiliate anyone on this thread. Instead of seeing the glaring issue with what was posted, you all are too busy beating me up about my 'judgmental intolerance'.
