Yeah, what DC said. ::still wiping her tears::

LightHeartedMaam -> RE: One Month to Harry Potter, Book Seven! (7/21/2007 7:53:35 PM)

I just had this weird thought~

With the following of this series with such devotion and to the point of dressing up as the characters and all, I am thinking maybe there might be a branch of D/s form from these books, much like the Gor series started.

Heh :)~ wierder things have happened.  And who are we to say who is right or wrong?  I wonder what Potter-ite or Muggle D/s would be like.

dcnovice -> RE: One Month to Harry Potter, Book Seven! (7/21/2007 8:02:26 PM)

Well it did occur to me once that if Snape and McGonagall had ever paired up, their initials would be S&M!

I'm disappointed in you, dc. McGonagall is 'nilla.

It would have to be Snape and Malfoy. [sm=biggrin.gif]

I don't know. I could see her as quite the dominatrix!

But I love the Snape-Malfoy pairing!

I cried buckets reading. Didn't do anything but read all day yesterday. It was great/awesome/wonderful and lots of other good things.

What I wonder about is...if Neville is a poor wizard, could it be because he was usuing a wand that wasn't his?

I’ve wondered about that myself. We don’t hear that the Longbottom family is poor, but then again maybe the bills at St. Mungos are piling up (does the wizarding world have health insurence?).

True...but what I meant by "poor" is bad, sucky, crappy...etc

Just thought you'd be interested to know that my copy of "The Plot Thickens....Harry Potter Investigated By Fans For Fans,"
arrived from Amazon the other day.  I'm finding it a quite enjoyable read although I was a little disappointed that it only covers up to book five.  On the other hand, it is kind of fun to see what theories they had about book six that the got wrong.  Thanks for the recomendation.

You are so welcome![:)] Also I found two other books New Clues To Harry Potter-Book 5 and The End Of Harry Potter? Also found at Barnes and Noble. Glad I could help a fellow Potter fan.

Google "fanfic" and "slash" together with "Harry Potter" and I promise your eyes will be opened to a whoooooole new world. [:D]

Snape/Malfoy D/s pairings aren't a bit uncommon, by the way.  Also Snape/Harry.  Some of it's pretty hot actually.

Marc2b -> RE: One Month to Harry Potter, Book Seven! (7/22/2007 8:28:02 PM)

Just finished reading.

WOW!

Looking forward to discussing it all but right now, I'm going to bed.

Lordandmaster -> RE: One Month to Harry Potter, Book Seven! (7/22/2007 8:39:34 PM)

OK, like, now that the book has officially been released, can someone tell me how it ends, so I don't have to read the damned thing?

I have to admit that after seeing the fifth movie, I have kind of warmed to the idea of little Umbridge/Harry D/s.

Still have a big ol' crush on Tonks, though. *wub*

I've finished it, and holy crap. It's fan-freakin'-tastic. The build up to Harry's endgame ties up so many loose ends, things you haven't thought of sense the beginning of the series, and at the crescendo, delivers the ending that needed to be.

Double-post strikes again.

satyrsnymph28 -> RE: One Month to Harry Potter, Book Seven! (7/23/2007 1:47:15 AM)

this is the most intense spoiler thread i have ever encountered... and most all of it was posted before the book even appeared to be read.  how strange..

at any rate... i'm just very glad i didnt read this thread before i read the book...

the book is fantastic... everyone should read it...

JackHammer2000 -> RE: One Month to Harry Potter, Book Seven! (7/23/2007 2:19:36 AM)

I've purposely NOT read this thread, just in case someone posted any spoilers.

But from the few posts that I DID read (I couldn't help it), this book sounds extremely promising...  :)

aidan -> RE: One Month to Harry Potter, Book Seven! (7/23/2007 8:36:17 AM)

I've been at Thunder in the Mountains all weekend, and it's been so funny to see people walking around with the book. Apperantly Midori and a few other presenters went to a local bookstore on opening night to get it.

"We've been up all night, but not doing what you think." [:D]

aidan -> RE: One Month to Harry Potter, Book Seven! (7/23/2007 8:41:48 AM)

Damn double-posting.
