I'm working on my doctorate, so could I be just "Dr. and mrs. Rose"? I can see it now, on my Christmas cards. Might be confusing for those who would assume that my imaginary husband is the "Dr." in the relationship, but I like confusing people.

C)Maam, I love hearing yes Maam, and his referring to me that way at all times, makes my heart race with excitement.

ooh 3 very good ones M. I especially like B. Funny, since I've been known to carry one of those nifty little wooden rulers with the metal strip. They have so many wicked little uses.

My vote is for Maam and wife, also.
Maam and wife is short and to the point.
But of course, it will be up to the BETTER HALF of the couple.

Not to mention that it's similar enough to man and wife that perhaps it could be subtley slipped into the ceremony without notice. "I now pronounce you, Ma'am and wife. You may now kiss the Bride" LOL

I enjoy watching nature program on TV. They say that the male lion is dangerous. When the female lion is protecting what is hers she is even more dangerous.
I was thinking about Lioness and her malewife.

What would the Better (Dominant Female) half of that equation be called? As someone said to me recently Female Husband just doesn't roll off the tongue as delightfully as malewife does. Would love to hear what any one cares to suggest as well as why they feel that would be the appropriate name.

My dad always called my Mother... "The Boss".  Just seemed natural that when I grew up, I would also be call "The Boss".  Short, sweet and to the point.

Sounds like your dad had it exactly right!

Who Me? Subtle? Hardly.

I was actually remembering the poem...Kipling yes? I don't believe I was aware there was a song to that respect.

Hi again Ma`am. It was indeed Kipling who wrote the poem. The song i was thinking of was used in an Austin Powers movie i think.

Now that's just going to drive Me crazy until I find out what the song is and who sang it. Your mission...should you choose to accept it...

I'm off to bed. I've been trying to critique too many radiographs on another site and My eyes are crossing.

Ma`am..... i am glad You edited Yourself, i refrained from doing so < grins impishly>

The line was used in a song called "Female of the Species"  recorded by a group called Space, on their album "Spiders" released in 1996.
The song was used in the film " Austin Powers: International man of mystery "  Which is where i remember it from, as it plays during the final credits.

Edits for spelling

As much as people are unlikely to notice the substitution of "ma'am" for "man" ... I hate being called ma'am.  So for me, I'd probably stick to Mrs. and mr. - mostly because I'm not changing my name anyway, so I think people will figure out that something is up lol

Karen,

That's a very interesting point and one that should be brought up as well. How many of Us that are seeking male wives plan to keep our own names or hyphenate them in some way. Personally I would go with hyphenation however My own last name would come first in the placement obviously.

Great point Karen!
