ORIGINAL: Arpig I'm afraid, folks, that Fargle is right. The U.S. Constitution delimits the power of the Federal Gvt On a further note, if the Government is limited and cannot do unreasonable searches and seizures on a Citizen, but a Citizen can only be determined by doing an unreasonable search and seizure, where does that leave the Constitutionality of fingerprinting E.U. citizens? Try the following experiment, label one glass The Government, label one glass PERSON, put a folded scrap of paper that says citizen under the glass marked PERSON. Explain to The Government glass that it cannot see what is in the glass marked Person. Wait to see how long it takes The Government glass to find out whether the piece of paper says CITIZEN or PERSON. Take a third glass marked Happy Hour. Fill with an 18 year old single malt. Imbibe. Sinergy i ma trying to figure out what situation you might be thinking of that would warrant an unreasonable search and seizure? The correct procedure would be to file with the FISA court to insure the search is reasonable then when granted, the person has a choice either show something or not do whatever it is they came to do. i know it was inconvenient but the last thing we want is to sacrifice out rights for convenience as we have done in the past, but i fear we will continue because some, well i believe most people wont appreciate them till they are gone.
