Status: offline 		i'm shutting this down as its getting way too out of control.. It WAS supposed to be about a silly time and its just been blown all out of porportion, getting way too personal, so i'm shutting it down on my end.

Status: offline 		Getting drunk is not an objective to be proud of. Neither is behavior while drunk anything to be proud of. I for one am not impressed with drunks.

Status: offline 		I'm not sure...don't think this is really the case..but perhaps I should've said sarcastic grin...

I feel I should put my 2 cents (more..) in on this, as I don't want to be seen as one who condones this kind of crap. I've had people thrown out of bars for not much mpre than that. It tends to cause problems when you have little girls running around behvaing that way, then getting themsleves into some much wanted "trouble" and then their boyfriend/ dom/ top/ master / husband has to come to their rescue. Which was the whole point of their behavior in the first place.

The reasons I know this to be true, is I watch it, and have to help control it at work, for the past 5 yrs now.

I had wanted to not come off as a bitch about it.... but well... it was all set up this way from the OP.

The fact that you've been one since 15, is definately not impressive. Nor am I impressed by your Master (using this term loosely) because he enables it... aparently readily.

Jennifer, I'm glad you said it, because I was thinking it but didn't want to say it!

Since having a very disappointing experience with an alcoholic who was too good to be true (he WAS too good to be true, he was an alcoholic who fell off the wagon in a real bad way) I have no tolerance for alcoholics who are not in a committed, work the steps recovery.

Status: offline 		These kind of people (drunk and/or high) are the worst ones to have around. This is where some of a bad name comes from for play and that... the drunks that end up playing their thresh hold gone... since they can't see straight, their body is partly numb too. Thus sustaining damage they wouldn't have if they hadn't gotten so screwed up.

Yeah... I know... no one who's an acoholic plays when they are drunk.... but they do... and then get hurt... than it's oh, those bad kinky people.... look people just getting brutalized...tisk tisk.

whew....rant complete...sorry about that.

But, it's all still true. These (alcoholics..) people are not great to have in the lifestyle... it's not safe. Not only does it not fall under the SSC, but I don't believe it even falls under RAC..(not sure on the abreviation there... but those familiar with it, will know what I am referring to)

Now, I drink on occasion, no not to the point of being blindingly drunk.. and this is not why I drink... This said to establish I'm not against drinking, or not a prude (that sounds funny even saying in this forum...) And yes I've even been drunk. But the difference is that it's not a past time, hobby, or a need for me.

Status: offline 		riot girl, i think there were two reasons P/pl may have reacted badly to your thread; first; it wasn't entirely clear you had stopped drinking; and second, you found humor in the things you did while drunk. the story you told about trying to pick up a girl in a bar for a 3way was pretty demeaning to all involved..but most especially you, who were acting while drunk. none of the stories you told about being drunk were funny to me..vomiting on your mom...they mad me sad.

i am very happy for you that you have overcome so much adversity in your young life, but take issue with your denigration of P/pl in AA and NA; it is so hard to overcome adiction and many P/pl are helped by these organizations..so why the hostility towads them and their members?

i don't think A/anyone who wrote was actually hostile to you..i think P/pl were concerned until you clarified that you are alcohol and drug-free and only play when you are sober. most P/pl i think would agree that is necessary for a submissive's safety -- for your safety. perhaps P/pl were a bit harsh in their language, but i think they wrote because they care for you -- and because they did not want you to model drunken play for any young submissive on the site. a misunderstanding, in other words.

i wish you well in all ways, riot girl, including continued sobriety. fillepink

Started doing what exactly? Sure you've managed to physically survive to this age in your life, but how sane and whole of a person are you? How much abuse and destruction did others put you through? Did you put yourself through? You're only JUST NOW even beginning to have something of a stable life, still at the very babysteps of having an actual fulfilling healthy life.

I don't think you've got much to stand on right now talking about "doing it on their own."

Status: offline 		Hmmmm I really don't mind that sort of thing in jest but apparently your Master sees there is a problem with your drinking. I know for a fact that if My girl got to the point to where there was bound to be an altercation, there would be repercussions from it. Especially if that type of incident gets her thrown out of the bar. There would be a discussion the next day about it & possibly a correction afterwards. One thing I wouldn't tolerate is being humiliated in that sense.
