Latex aren't the only toys that will crack and break. I've had a Vixen Creations silicone dil split off at the base. The company claimed it was "improper storage". What was I to do, store it in someone's ass so the pressure was off of the base flange? LOL

I know I mentioned Diane's post to a subbie I am experimenting on - he did not laugh at all. He got all worried about how to get the broken piece out. To get him to calm down I had to promise him that if that ever happened to him that I would get it out somehow without doing any damage or having to send him to the ER. Through all of this I saw one appropriate response. Ladies please remember you are also supposed to be the comfort and control of your sub/slave/bottom. He probably was terrified that it wouldn't come out. Depending on the way it broke, if it had a vey blunt edge it may not have passed. This might have caused a trip to the local emergency room to have it removed. I assume you would have accompanied him and since you are the dominant partner, he could have remained quiet while you explained everything to the physician. While he may endure humiliation in his scenes noone wants to face this in the Vanilla world. Is a dominant relationship only about abuse and humiliation or is there supposed to be support for the sub?
