I admit, alot of the complaints I have been hearing on this thread seem to be directed more towards the LARP and ren-faire crowds......most of what they are complaining about I have never seen at an SCA event, and I try to make at least 2 a month!

i have found that there is a strong cross over link ,, but yet i have been working faires and such for almost 20 years now as many differnt things,, but i prefer the role of a Jester,, lot more fun,, but that is another story,,
most of the ppl i know that are into it both have a very open mind adn enjoy exploration of the imagination,, weather it be in the Faire /SCA or in the lifestyle atmosphere,, and i personalythink that the tie between the two is the ability to live and enjoy as well as ac out fantasies,, so if there is a common bond that may be it,, or it might be the "romanticisisim" of the who thing,, for each person has a personal reason they do it ,,
now with that said I'm a Member of a Group called the Colorado Rogoues under a differnt name,, and well lets just say that could be a club all onto it's self
