I married a big guy and that was what I knew. Now I find it puts me off to be with a thinner man. In bed he just felt too small. Plus, there is something really nice about rolling over into that big warm body at night. I'm also not a small woman and I'm sure that is part of it.

I agree with most of the posts thus far.  I tend to like large men...always have.  Part of it certainly is because I'm big and a man bigger than me makes me feel more feminine.  I think I also associate it with strength. 

Now, it doesn't matter how big he is if the connection, honesty, trust, attentiveness, etc., aren't there too.  And I also agree that the attitude and confidence they have has a huge impact on how I see them.

The male slaves we have had over the years have always been big, burly and strong. We didn't ever make that a requirement but it has always worked out that way. We'd like to think we are open minded and would be happy with a slight but dedicated slave but have never run across the right guy.

Seems to me that, though you may not have made it an official requirement, it is still an unconscious choice for you. Not a bad thing at all.

Personally, though I've been with partners of all sizes, I have always loved big men. I'm short (5'1") and very thick and curvy, but if a guy is strong enough to haul me all over the bed and big enough to make me feel tiny, it just makes me melt and surrender. A big, burly Dom (6'5", over 300 lbs. and reminds me of Satan when he smiles) literally grabbed me around the waist and carried me under his arm like one would a rolled carpet. I LOVED it!

I have always prefered a man to be taller than me...which isnt hard seeing as how im barely 5' tall. Most men Ive dated have been atleast 5'10, husband is 6'4". Ive dated larger men and smaller men, not really a preferance there, as long as they take care of themselves. How is someone who cant take care of themselves gonna take care of me??

Ladies, just for the record, it works BOTH ways.  The physical power of large women who are Domme's is numbing.  i guess the BBW thing has been tortured on here, but the concept of SIZE and POWER goes both ways...

Mostly what I'd like to be big on a guy is the organ I care about most and consider the sexiest.  No, not that one.  It's what's between his ears that really matters to me.  The rest isn't nearly so relevant. 

Big guys can be sexy, and I've dated some, but I certainly do appreciate the pretty-boy-toy type who is slender and graceful.  I can still achieve the same D/s dynamic with a larger man in the same way I manage large animals, with assorted subtle tricks to create the almost unconscious illusion that I am the stronger alpha in complete physical control.  It can be managed with animals that are larger and stronger than any human alive, and it can also be managed with a small woman and a large man.  It's always going to be easier to physically control and dominate a smaller, slighter creature, but I don't always have that luxury either with animals or submissives.  So I use techniques that neither a two legged nor a four legged subject is going to be fully aware of to maintain "strong alpha" status in the relationship on a reflexive, automatic, unconscious level.  They work just fine, so I certainly don't exclude physically larger males from consideration.

I have trouble with men shorter than I am because I've always been self-concious about my height - I'm 5'9".  Provided he's taller than me and not a twig though, I'm fine with most anything.

I prefer mine tall and VERY thin. My exhusband was a big guy (big as in 6'3 and about 550) and that has never ben my preference, but his personality won me over. In the end, that was what changed, as well.
On average, I am shorter and muscular, and I want a compliment to my physical atributes, so I prefer a man who is taller and yet delicate.

I have always preferred taller guys with a little meat on their bones.  I'm only 4'10" with a stocky build.  The guys I seem to go for are all around 6' or taller and over 200lbs.  I just don't feel as safe with a smaller guy.  Being wrapped up in those big arms just really does it for me.

this is all interesting...I have a different experience. I am a bigger, curvy girl, 5'7" and taller with heels. I have always liked tall men, but ended up with shorter men, around 5'8" who were in good shape, around 170 lbs. For some reason, my hottest lovers/Doms were shorter, dark hair, and compact.

It just fits really well with me and as for their ability to overpower me, well, it all starts in the brain; if they can master my mind, they can master my body.

Heh, i adore tall men...and bigger men.  i'm a big, "curvy" girl myself at 6' tall...i always attracted the shorter men and, i have to be honest, i had really awful experiences with men of equal height/weight (or less weight) than myself...Give me my 6'4" 230-ish pound, long brunette haired, blue eyed Sir ANY day of the week [:D]

Oh, I LOVE a big, burly man with meat on his bones and hair on his chest!!
Oh, but wait.. I also love a slender man with a sexy waist ( you know, when the jeans just rest on the hipbones? makes me want to sink my teeth right into that spot)
But then again...I wouldn't turn down a fine, well-muscled, tan piece of eyecandy manflesh either.

Skinny doesn't cut it for me regardless of size. Height is less important than strong arms to hold me when i need it.  I generally have preferred taller men. I'm 5'8" and have dated many men who claim to be 5'10-5'11. Yeah ok, not even with shoes on. It's nice to be able to wear heels and still be no taller than your man. But then again being the exact same height and almost same weight adds a really interesting aspect to wrestling during play. My partner and i switch between ourselves only, and i think one big reason we can is because we are so physically well matched.

All my life i have loved taller, stronger, bigger men.  i just wouldn't want any ole tall man though.  He has to be intelligent, loving, caring and that would make me safe and would protect me.
 
On the other hand though, i have had a few men that are only just a few inches taller than myself (i'm 5'3") and their confidence, intelligence and domination and the feeling of being safe in His arms overrides what i would initially prefer.  
 
i do have a difficult time with very thin men though.  i like to have something to hold on to and be able to put my head on a nice big chest when we are embraced.  i also like the heaviness on me when He is on top.  Thin men just don't do it for me no matter who they are.

I prefer that type of man - I like a masculine man thats big, can beat up people on my behalf, and knows how to use firearms to kill people on my behalf.  Its like a nice warm security blanket.
