i am 5'3" and a little on the big side. i prefer a big man in height and weight. my first Master was 6'5" and 350 lbs. like some others here, i liked the feel of feeling protected when in his arms. my current Master is 6' and 300 lbs. i have always gone for the bigger ones both in vanilla and here.

I love and prefer bigger men.  Not overweight but height and weight proportionate.  I'm a short lady (5'4) and my 'materialistic' preference is someone taller than 5'8.  I just dont find short men or skinny men physically attractive no matter how hard I try.
The same goes for women but not the height...I could care less about a woman's height but I find a curvaceous woman more attractive than a skinny woman.  Ofcourse everyone has to be healthy and in good shape...or decent shape.

Perhaps a tall man/big man offers me a sense of safety, although I've never thought about it that way but at times its how I feel.

I'm 5'3 so everyone looks taller me. The height is not an issue for me, but I do prefer boney men.

You don't have to be perfectly HWP, but I do not relate to those who are wider than they are tall---it may seem narrow minded, but I've been there, it won't work in My house full of antiques and glassware, it won't work with the horses, it won't work in the activities in My life.

I prefer men over 6, women equally-taller than me, not shorter.
When it comes to fat...NO thank you!!!! it's a huge deal for me.
men=FIT/muscly/masculine in the most literal meaning
women=FIT or proportionate as long as there's nothing that can be called rolls I'm all good, depends on the bone structure.
nowadays..this's almost an impossible demand 'cause geez way too many people simply are fat[&:]

I just got finished reading a thread about Doms and BBW and it got me thinking.  I am fairly average in height and weight but much prefer men who are at least 6 ft tall and at least 200 lbs. but preferably more.
Muscularity    It's quite sexy when SOS writes a word that I've never seen before.  It's like her intelligence is far more attractive than mascularity. ( I had to look it up)
doesn't really play a part in it.  Strength however, plays a big role (as does a decent knowledge of weaponry including firearms and broadswords..)
I am thinking about Robert Redford, Sam Elliot, Angolina Jolee, and the dude who plays Wolverine ! [:D] [8D] [:D] 

This is not meant in any way to denegrate those males who don't fall into this physical category.  It is just my personal preference.

So my question is:  How many of you out there prefer bigger men and why?



I use to have a preference, in my wildest fantasies! [;)] 

Of the men in my life who have made a bold statement, only 1 was greater than 6', in fact, my brother is 6'5" and 10 yrs younger.

One thing I do know, my psyche couldn't handle a man shorter than myself unless he had a giant heart. [:)]

I quite like men to be about the same height as me or taller though given that I am 6ft2 it does rule out a lot of people though I guess one cant help who one is attracted to. I like lean muscular types, I don’t really like men who are huge, they are too heavy and out of proportion.

I have always had a preference for tall men.  My ex- is 6' and most of the men that I have been with have been 6' or more and those I've been in relationships with who have been less than 6' have been powerfully built. 
On a very fundamental level, I like a man with whom I feel safe and whose stature as well as bearing is decisively commanding (Regardless of the side of the kneel or lack there-of).  I particularly like very triangular upper-body shape (Think Superman, though I don't find Superman appealing, too homogenized) or a thick, columnar build (This tends to be the build I've found appealing on men less than 6').  I don't mind a extra pounds as long as the person is solid or a little bit sort.  Jiggily fat and spillage of flesh is not appealing to me. 
I adore the size difference between males and females (I am 5' and within what's considered a healthy weight range for that height); that a male is substantially larger than am I is definitely appealing...looking up at a man, putting my hand against his and seeing how much larger his hand is than mine (My most recent boy had spider-fingers and had 2 joints beyond where my fingers ended). 
Protections, aesthetics: those are biggies for me!  :>

I have always preferred big men. Anything under 6 foot I consider to be short. I also like a man to have muscle and a healthy amount of fat. A man has to have a beard for me to consider him attractive. This is because I feel a tall, heavy, bearded man is the most masculine.

I think a lot of women prefer men like this on a subconcious level, because historically the large, strong men were the best hunters, providers, and protectors. If a man had a goodly amount of fat on him, he was very well off and a man of leisure. Though it is not a way to identify a mans lifestyle now, I believe it speaks to us in a Jungian archetype sort of way.

Of course it could all just be a matter of taste. :)

I am attracted to the exact opposite type of women - young and sweet looking, petite and preferably blonde., thus very feminine. I'm old fashioned, I like men to be men and women to be women in the most traditional ways.

I am 5'3 and my Free Companion is 6'4". Just perfect to kiss the top of my head when I have pleased him.

Felicitousdove - I agree with you. I have always had a thing for Santa. I thought I was the only one with a Santa fetish. How about the Ghost of Christmas Present in A Christams Carol? Now that's a man for ya.  Santa is sexy, and all those gifts.....

Well I know this question was aimed at women but I answering it anyway because I think it's an interesting one (or should that be I'm interested in it). I'm very short....I mean very close to the ground, but I'd love a submissive who's very tall;not just in relation to Me (cos everyone's bigger than Me). I mean really tall generally-someone between about 5 10' and 6 2' and strong/muscuar-like an olympic swimmer.
