While shorter men are easier for me to dance with... I do soooooooo love a big man!  I had a boyfriend that was almost 6'8 and I have no idea what he weighed... it was a lot though... was even a sprint car driver at that! lol  I was 90lbs and 5'1.  We looked like a freak couple, but man we had fun!

A man that can let me sit on his forearm and hold me up so he doesn't have to hurt his neck looking down... very sweet! hehe (Reminds me of King Kong)

The monster was over 6'5"... he lost a few inches in height after back surgery.  Funny, he never *seemed* all that tall to me, until I would turn over in bed and there would be this WALL there!  [:D]

I am on the large side, I couldn't be skinny if I wanted, I'd look anorexic if I were to try. I don't find super skinny to be particularly appealing, some men look good slender, some just do not. I like muscles and muscular builds, not steroid huge, just BUILT.

Edited to add: Height wise, not so much a concern, just as long as they are BUILT.

I was skinny clear up until I was 16 -17-18 around there, and I don't have any problems with my weight, nor do skinnier people make me have problems about myself or my weight I was a bit skinnier then, , my X was same height as me, 5'5 and he weighed like maybe 130 140 or something I don't know he was very very slender, some mistook him for underage sometimes. We were an odd couple, size wise but, I never cared. My Daddy now, he's 6 foot 300 pounds and I didn't pick him cause of thatI fell in lust with him online before ever knowing what helooked like, but I do like being just the right height, to rest my head squarely in the middle of his chest, and I do like being able to pull his shirt over my head and hide, if he's standing and I am sitting.

Hmmmm I never see BIG as Tall I see BIG as BIG which means Chunky Husky or Thick. I happen to perfer my women with curves and will turn a woman down if she is too skinny and being the confident life of the party that I am, I have and DO turn skinny chicks down. At Some point they just look Fragile and I am not into that.

I perfer my women thick, like the boobie and well bobbies come with body fat and hips and butt require a healthy appitite so YES I like bigger girls.

I prefer taller, broader, chunkier men, but I have had some great relationships with those that have been quite the opposite. I'm 5'4 and certainly no stick insect. When I've been with men that are slimmer than me I've found myself feeling self-conscious about my size and as though I'd break them! I really don't enjoy hip bones bruising my thighs either. However I don't think I have a specific type, and would never rule someone out just because they're not towering over me.

i prefer tall men, they're usually larger too. My friend Jen says I have a talent for finding mountain men/ bears lol. that's where my taste seems to run (actually it must be their personalities cause it's every single one and I usually don't start looking at profiles until they asked me if i have). But it's the personality too, my mom says Master has a big ego. it's just he has confidence and knows what he can and cannot do. if he can't or doesn't know how to do something he gets someone to teach him. I'm tall, 5'11 so it's hard to find guys taller than me, my height yes but rarely taller. I like that Master is bigger and stronger than me, He's my protector, my teddy bear when i need it and oh wowie those hands when they land on my behind!

Honestly I'd have to say size doesn't matter. I've dated them all from a huge body builder who had the biggest arms I've ever seen to a man only 1/2" taller (I'm 5' 3 1/2") and they've all had their attractions for me. It's the attitude and personality...

I need a man to be bigger than me, regardless of his domliness. I went out on a date with a guy who was shorter than me (5'3"!), and there was just utterly no physical attraction for me. That being said, so long as he is a few inches taller, he needn't be BIG...he can be slim or less so and still be attractive depending on who he is.

I  prefer bigger men, but that doesn't mean I will not date someone that isn't big. There is just something about a big man that makes wanna holla...lol
I am not talking about obese big either.

But if you were to ask me before i met him, i would say that i would want someone at least 6 foot tall.  Just goes to show you that what you want isn't necessarily what your heart desires.

lol . .. . Great thread, as usual, I've learned more about myself while learning about y'all . .....

All other factors held constant (honesty, communication, compatibility, personality, & so on & so forth), men's appearance does matter to me . .. . . .

Chicks -- I dig chicks, I don't care what they look like . . . . . lol . . . . Big titties, little titties, steatopygous booties, boy-booties, it's all good . . . . .

I do prefer to look at tall & skinny (& younger & prettier) guys . . . . . But there are so many tall & skinnies that open their mouths & ruin the whole thing, so . .. . . *shrugs* . . ... . (I was feeling a little guilty about liking skinny boys, but after reading thru this thread I'm feeling much better . .... . [;)] )

& more than it being about skinny versus fat, for me a big component is about fitness -- really fit guys are a turn-on for me, & that whole huffing-puffing-wheezing thing is a turn-off . .... . & I'll be careful to point out that body size & fitness are only roughly correlated, ie plenty of 'average' body size people are relatively 'unfit' & plenty of 'overweight' people are in decent condition . . ... .

Of course, I'm gonna look at skinny, pretty, younger guys until they shove me into the great dispose-all, so appearances becomes an ephemeral factor -- more important is that any potential partner be unruffled by my looking at all the pretty guys . ... . lol

Oh, & one last, kinda random thought . . .. . I'm pretty strong -- for a grrl. Most guys are way stronger than I am despite how skinny & un-muscley they might look . . .. . . On average, they've got slightly more muscle tissue & it's slightly denser than women's, pound for pound of person being compared . . . . . . Um, yeah, I like that 'strong' thing, both as a giver & a taker . .... . (Hehehehe, lots of guys enjoy being 'woman-handled', lol)

 Coming from the submissive male perspective, I like being a big guy and a submissive.

The last woman I was seriously seeing was 5'6" and 126 pounds and it turned her on to no end that I engulfed her as a man, but she could drop me to my knees with a look.

I've met a lot of women who've said that the size aspect of a man enhances the power dynamic because of this as well.

Personally, I've always enjoyed being a big guy. Even when I was 180 pounds, I had a big frame (I wore a 48 suit jacket then), so I gave the appearance of being a big guy.

I've never really had a problem attracting women due to my size/weight. My guy friends don't really get it, but there's a fair amount of women out there that really dig big guys, just like they don't get the fact that I prefer a woman with a 'real' body rather than a stick. Whatever, to each their own.

It makes me happy to see so many Dommes on this thread and their positive responses.

This works for some on both sides of the kneel, myself included. My preference is for a man my height or taller, and definitely bigger and stronger than I am. I'm 5'9" and certainly not a skinny thing, so it does narrow the pool a bit for me. That said, being snuggled (or pinned) by a big bear and made to feel "little" and protected is a huge turn on, as is knowing that  I won't break him if I fight back a bit during resistance play. [;)]

Also have to second (third, fifth, whatever) those who commented about being bruised by their partner's unpadded hipbones. BTDT and it is NOT a good thing in my book.

For some reason, I heard many women say that they can't wear high heels if the guy isn't taller than them.

My wife just likes having someone who can reach tall shelves that she can't get to. One girl I knew had a pick up line "Excuse me but could you reach up and get that for me?"

I LOOOOVE big men!!!! 6 feet plus, 200 lb plus, and muscular is my ideal physical type. I'm petite, but there's something about being wrapped in those huge arms...

The largest man I dated was 6'10,  350lb, and a professional athlete. He sort of set my physical standard....too bad he was as vanilla as they come :P

I don't know if this counts as big. But what about a guy 5'7" tall weighing a little over 300 lbs? And not fat. Believe it or not it was all muscle. His neck was as big as my thigh. I'm not gay, but when I saw this guy, I was very impressed.
