I'm sure there was some of that, but I know that I didn't vote for him because he came across as a waffling, say-anything type. Gore had some of this, as well, and it doesn't scream "leadership". Any chance that waffling could be percieved in the fullness of time as a willingness to compromise and find solution? As regards John Kerry? No. Which isn't saying he is incapable of it, just that as of now, I see him as the ultimate parody of a politician. I admire his service in Vietnam and in the senate, but I don't want him as our President. You want a good example of someone willing to compromise, I'd point to Jimmy Carter, who had other issues, I guess. as for a say-anything type, how do you see George on that? He doesn't strike me as a say-anythinger, he is, however, suffering from tunnel-vision, a lack of flexibility, and some piss-poor advisors. Lev, the election of politicians is impression and spin only, nobody does the homework and you know how pretty princess girls turn into flat out worthless cunts when you get them home. Ron Sad but true.
