I know that I have gotten into some pretty heated interactions with folks at times and I have gotten a few "reprimands", but I have to say that most of the time they were deserved because I crossed the line. The Mods are people who have good days and bad days just like the rest of us. I'm sure that some days their patience is really put to the test here, maybe even most days. Maybe I'm not paying close enough attention but I really can't think of anyone who gets away with crossing lines consistently. Even if they don't get smacked down on the board, they may indeed be getting private warnings.

Winterlight you asked if anybody has ever been kicked off this site. I am not sure but Sirdiscipliner69 is not on here making 765 post a day anymore. I am not sure if he found another site or was booted from here. I enjoyed reading his post.

Just because you don't see someone getting in trouble, doesn't mean they haven't. They usually get something on the other side, and I doubt they will come over here and tell everyone. It is a thankless job, and I admit I don't always understand things over here. All in all though it's a pretty good board, they don't get paid to do it, and it takes a lot of time. If you don't like it, don't stay... perhaps join in and get to know others, see their writing style (Ron included). Most of the time you can fit the words with a personality and you get used to it. If you don't agree with what someone says, ignore it, or state your opinion. Be an adult about it or hit ignore. Most around here are pretty good..just take some time to get to know them. I know for one, I am very adorable[;)] Sin

A lot of what you're seeing may be in jest. Some of us have known one another for years. Then once in a while there is a real asshole, and people like that do indeed tend to get removed. I agree that some make their points with a bit more emotion or brutality than necessary or tend to take things a bit personally...but...i much prefer having the choice to disregard them...than to be censored.

People disagreeing with me or being "in my face" is not offensive to me but someone who just is not capable of even seeing others' viewpoints is. Someone who is so persuaded they are right and I am wrong that they aren't even willing to say that I have the right to my way. That is what's disgusting[:'(] but, fortunately, 99% of the folks here have evolved past that (and yes, I did do a scientific study on that)[;)].............slave luci

I mean we could have a "circle-jerk" in here everyday couldn't we? As far as I'm concerned Collarme is in the top ten percent of the best sites on the 'net. There is very little infighting in here and "Flaming" of other members is not allowed. I've been warned by the Moderators on occaision so I turn it down a few notches and, I really do try to stick to the subject matter and not get "personal" to other members. It really doesn't do any good to be calling people names. There are some people in here who I disagree with on many occaisions but the LAST thing I'd want to see is for them to be censored! This would be an awful BORING place if we all agreed with one another now wouldn't it? And then there's the "Free Speech Thing."

You know, now that we are are aware that NBA games are fixed by the referees why can't we come out of the closet about CM and the moderators.
