It's really all about quantum mechanics, quantum mathematics, and probablity really. There's a formula that takes all that into account, plus a few more elements, and when it's done computing in a flash, the ID of the being in question is added to the list. Of course, my and samba's IDs popped up several hundred thousand millenia ago, to our fate with the contiuum was pre-ordained, for all intents and purposes. samba can run and hide if she wants to. Hell, it's even expected. But, eventually, it'll be her turn to take her place within the continuum. shrugs It's a living...
