Samba, you're already a continuum member and have been since before your time. What's changed now, other than the fact you now know this? Has the continuum at large stopped you from maintaining this form, or living the life you have to this point? Has the continuum, at any point, indicated to you that you must now cease to live in this way because you are now aware? No, I tell you... and they won't. The continuum exists as thought energy and it cares not what form its members take.

If you choose to continue your life as you wish, then that's your right. Just know that as part of the continuum, you can change your life as you please. You're part of the continuum... you can do whatever you'd like...

Basically, it boils down to a change in your perceptions... your ability to think, believe, act, and experience beings, places, events, times, and dimensions that you could never possibly do in the limited and linear form that your race currently lives in. Once you comprehend all of the possibilities, you'll truly understand.

Until then, you'll probably feel uncomfortable, perhaps even a bit afraid, knowing that you're already a part of the continuum. And for that, the continuum is regretful about how the timing and way in which your introduction to them was handled.
