This is actually an older thread,and we have tried it since then. Lot's of lube and patience raelly pays off! I was recently told about that book and intend on looking for it this weekend!

We have that book! It is very informative, but my Master has a very large hand (the author of the book is a lesbian and much of the book seems geared towards folks with smaller hands) and we can't get past the bottom joint of his thumb. I wish we could... I've tried relaxing as much as possible but it's very painful and I guess despite my best efforts I tense up.

<sigh> One day, I hope.....

Deborah is well known here in Michigan and I have had the wonderful pleasure of meeting her and attending some of her classes on Spiritual BDSM. At the time that I met her she had a male submissive.

I am a man who hads never been fisted (good lord willing I won't be) but my wife and I have played this way for a couple of years. We also enjoy teasing our sub with this play as well. The only advice I could give is that is it hurts your doing to much to fast. I don't mean that good kind of hurt... I mean the "FUCKING STOP THAT NOW!!" kind of hurt. My wife took a couple of months to work up to it but our sub shook my whole hand in one try, it was a four hour session but you can see what I mean. Never been fisted, never had the desire or want to. Just not something that turns me on. Anyway, however.. Since, Im stubborn and never listen to DR's/OB's tell me anything. I've had two vaginal births, not a single episiotomy. I did tear - but not enough to even need a single stitch. But, also - a baby has about a 13 - 15 inch head. I'm not so sure Master's fist it that big. Possible tho. But, from everything I've read and like most have said.. Slow and lots of lube is the key. You will stretch naturally and won't tear. However, you don't really have to worry about "staying loose". It should only take a few hours, day at the most to snap back into normal shape and you can do kegals to help it along.

I tried it with my late Master but never worked he had big hands thiough the most i could handle was 4 fingers but he seemed happy with that. Even with 4 fingers i was still a little sore the next day a good sore though. If you like it an thats your kink then more power to you.

From a woman who loves being fisted, these are absolute musts for me:

1. Gloves. They cover the whole hand, so no nasty surprises from hangnails or rough skin. They also make extraction a lot easier.
2. Lube. Can't have too much. You'll need a towel or plastic sheets cuz it will get messy. Make sure you're using a lube that has more slip than stick, if you know what I mean.

I've also found that it's easier for me if I'm on my knees with my head and chest down. It seems to take more manuevering and adjusting if i'm on my back. When I'm on my knees, I can assist with the insertion by pressing back when I feel ready. I would definitely encourage experimenting with different positions to find the most comfortable arrangement for both of you. And as everyone has said, take it slow.

*smile* Lot see being fisted as a submissive act. I turn it into a Dominant one. I LOVE being fisted. My poor sub ends up with a sore arm. In an early post you asked about it making a woman looser. She'll probably be off the lecture circuit for a while as she's been talking about writing a new book. So if you get the chance to see her soon, jump on it.

Hmm...it's been a long time since I've tried fisting, but this thread is making me want to try it again.
"Try" being the key word. I've only actually been fisted once (years ago) and it was almost accidental. Or maybe "unplanned" is the better word. I remember it being absolutely wonderful, but every time my Mistress and I have tried it again, it hasn't worked out. It's been the same problem other posters have mentioned - that last thumb knuckle is all that's standing in our way. I thought it might be easier for us since she has slender hands, but apparently not *sigh*
Still, there's a lot of good info and advice on this thread. Who knows, maybe we'll try again soon.

I seem to have the same problem as a lot of you - that darn thumb knuckle. 4 fingers leaves me stretched to my (current) limit. I didn't realize fully that the scar tissue from childbirth was at higher risk of tearing... i sure as heck did realize it wouldn't stretch as well as the rest though, lol. Well, maybe someday we'll get there.
Nella, i can't say for sure, but i think(assuming from what was said) the lady who posted about prolapsing from fisting had been fisted many many times and perhaps non-consentually. She DID call him a psychopath, after all. This isn't something you would have to worry about your first time, as long as you go slow and carefully.

I have never been able to get my hand all the way in when trying to fist a subs pussy, and I test a subs size with a large dildo, then 4 fingers before trying. I have average size hands, probably a little small, at 3.5 inches across the nuckles... I almost got my hand all the way in with one sub... maybe I'll call her back & try again! Fisting has to be done in a very relaxed state. Preparation for the first fisting is VERY important. It helps to get very turned on and although wet as hell, USE LUBE! My hand is quite large (right is larger than left) so for the first time use the smaller hand. Wear a surgical glove and lube it as well. When sub/slave is well into the heat of the moment, gently spread her as wide as you can, and starting with the index finger, keep inserting and stretching until your 4 fingers are easily inserted. The vagina is generally taller than it is wide, so keep your fingers vertically aligned. When stretching is comfortable, test thumb tucked into palm and try insertion. The next border to overcome is the thumb joint. Keep working it until the vagina actually sucks it in and coordinate it with curling the fingers in to make a fist. At his point your entire fist should be in and your wrist showing. Take a while and move around a bit.....enjoy this for some time and then try a pounding fist fuck if comfortable. Try this a few times and then move to the larger hand.....then without gloves. You would both know what feels right!

Some really good advice here on fisting... as said, gloves to prevent scratching etc, lube, lube lots of lube. The more relaxed and turned on the person being fisted is the better, try different positions to see whcih one suits you best. If the sub pushes down this often can help open up the walls a bit.. Once in not a lot of movement is needed, roating as suggested or gently slightly opening and closing the fist can be good too. I've also found that if you let the female push the fist out at the end it helps speed up the tightening of the vagina again.
