gee mr bunny wabbit... Albert Einstein was the same way. not to mention a few dozen others so before you drop to rude witted humor which shows nothing but you being ass.. i suggest you do some fact checking.. also i would recommend you  seek a mental health professional ..you could have some self esteem issues. I know someone who could help you with that yep yep

And what way was Einstein? He was able to write and make himself understood, he had to be for his scientific papers to be published, not to mention graduating with a teaching degree. Stephen Hawking isn't able to speak or use his hands to write and he is able to make himself understood and draft understandable papers.

He may have had someone translate for him for that project, but he was quite capable of writing up his own papers.

Yes, that is about spelling in english, he was German so it is understandable that he may not spell that well coming to America so much later in life. Most of his scientific papers were writen in his native German, so he was able to spell properly.

quote:

ORIGINAL: Einstein
Although he lived for many years in the United States and was fully bilingual, Einstein claimed never to be able to write in English because of "the treacherous spelling". He never lost his distinctive German accent either, summed up by his catch-phrase "I vill a little t'ink".

Once again....straight to my name....LOL. Its like clockwork.

Just for clarification, the "idiot" at the end of my statement wasnt an ad homeium attack against you, but rather a reference to people who would be so ludicrious as to play with someone who has ADD as idiots.

I'm sorry if you find my overly sarcastic and sardonic statements to be personally offensive, but I personally find your condemnation and narrow mindness on this subject to be offensive as well.

If perhaps you could get past your own self esteem issues and actually read my posts, you will find their is actually quite a lot of substance in them regarding this topic of discussion.

As opposed to your post above which was clearly just flame, devoid of any actual counterarguments to the points I have brought up.

Personally, I am heavily biased against hard drug use and regular, excessive drinking. I have made posts in the past where my opinion is that neither should be activities in the life of someone who wants to call themselves Master. With that said, I am also a part time bartender, a very light social drinker, and have a lot of friends and family who indulge in the night life.

We would like to think we live in a world of designated drivers and perfectly responsible drinkers, but the reality is that is actually a myth. 90% of the customers who come to my bar, sit down, have more than a few drinks, and then take their keys and get behind the wheel of a motorcycle or car. 4 people show up, 4 people drink and 4 people leave. 9.99% of them call cabs or have had cabs called for me because they were clearly unable to focus and drive. And the 0.01% was one guy who ordered a coke and told me he was actually the designated driver.

Sooo...if you were to take the opinion that anyone who has one drink and drives is a criminally negolient bad human being and completely non caring about the lives of other people....then you have pretty much condemended and judged everyone that has ever included drinking in their social night life.

Perhaps now you understand why I find your idea of "one drink and a spanking = complete sociopathic disregard to human life" to be ludicrious.

And even more ludicrious that a person who claims to have sky dived and swam with sharks considers that to be "edge play".

Definitely, and I will take this opportunity to borrow his words, as they apply to this:

"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.

The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.
"

This quote, I believe, accurately captures the meta-subject of this thread.

How apt is your signature line!  What is your opinion again of those who have a drink or two and play?
