To be honest, sometimes. It is very hard for me to remember that he is not really a part of my life anymore. He was my best friend for almost 7 years and we were together as a couple for 3 years. I would rather have had none of that then to have it and then not be able to have it again.

I hope that all makes sense, I am rather sleepy

I'll be honest, I have a hard time understanding. But that's ok. I guess when *I* look back, I feel that everyone that has come in and out of my life has given me something. I believe I have given back too. I could not be the person I am today if it wasn't for them. So, I try to find the good parts about the time I had with them, and yeah, I'm not a cold bitch that doesn't feel pain. There are times when I miss people, a lot.

I guess there are those who I have cared about that don't want anything to do with me because it hurts too much. As I said, I have a really hard time relating but I do respect it. If it's the last thing I can give them.

I didn't mean to imply bitterness. I'll take that back if I may. It may simply be pain. I'm sorry you are feeling what you are. I hope that time will help you heal.

That is what I am hoping as well. And I do thank you for respecting without understanding. I think that we just feel things differently, and that neither of us is "wrong" and you are certainly not a cold bitch (at least not that I have seen)

Dear LadyAngelika,

In my humble opinion you are most definitely not a cold hearted bitch. It may not be worth much , but I have a great deal of respect for you. You are intelligent, honest and thoughful.
There are a few dozen people on these boards I know I can always count on for a wise word... and you are one of them.

Hello to My Sisters in Superiority and Sadism!

Is there a way W/we can share experiences of Time Wasters and Fakers on this site? I do not wish to necessarily name and shame but warn others. Are the Moderators interested to know of the ingenuine?

I have an idea for you. Start your own website and name anyone you deem to be fake or phony by your exacting standards. My guess that a "faker" to you would be one that cannot afford to buy you the 400k home you are demanding in your profile.

The moderators could not keep up with the traffic caused by everyone who would claim to have encountered a fake or phony. Sure there are fakes and phonies... by what rules and criteria are you judging them?

I am sorry to say that even if I were a submissive male with a large bank account and met your demands, I find nothing attractive about complaining incessantly in different threads. This sounds more like something to stir the pot than a genuine search for a submissive.

Frankly I am sick and tired of lazy ass women who are looking for someone to leach of rather than a true submissive. Real Domina is self sufficient and can take of herself, not look for someone to leach of, like some pathetic parasite.

Oh Dusty, it's a simple handbook, one page, one line, three words in fact. It simply says *Respect, Honesty, Assertiveness*

I agree, whoever said that was never been in love and then lost it.

I've been in love and lost it. I'm just not bitter about it. I move on and I'm grateful for the times I've had with those that I've been with.

Then again, that is how I deal with life. I find it makes my life more enjoyable.

Very much ditto - and it is each of those past experiences that created the person I am today, and prepared me for this, final, relationship.

I totally agree M'Lady -

I have loved totally and completely and lost those that I have gone on elsewhere - either by leaving or dying. And not once would I regret any single moment - I would have rather I loved them to the fullest that I could then never to have known them at all. That would have been such a terrible loss.

I could not be bitter of losing something that was such a precious part of my life. I love Demon - losing Him would be destroying - but never to of known Him would have been a complete loss.

Peace and Love

I also feel its better to have loved.... I find it a cold world if I had to hold back from caring about people in case I got hurt. Yes, I'll use common sense to a degree when getting to know someone etc. I have to say tho' that I have gained something from every person I have loved whether they are still in my life or not. For me the positives outweigh the negatives.
