You do have my sympathy." You did not say what the pain was. I rather enjoy pain, most types. A fractured leg, no, is not a good pain but I did not even get mine set when it was fractured. Saw the x-ray, limped a bit and got over it. Same when I broke my foot. Some of us can do that, some cannot. It does not make me a bad person to deal with pain in my way, nor for you to in yours. If you are in serious pain, I am truly sorry and wish you well soon.

What's done is done. I cannot change the past, but it MIGHT possibly make me actually get it set in the future. That masochistic side of me....can't keep her down sometimes!

It is a girly type pain, above the waist and is faily constant. Diagnosis is moving ahead quickly.
