It is a great point. But another point is that with fetishes along these lines, it's also a good idea to make sure people have thought them through. Like the lady who posted and wanted to be hung. There are a lot of risks that go along with surgery, it costs a lot of money and there is no sure-fire way to make sure that the woman won't use him for his fetish and then hit the door. Also, as I mentioned before, he should think about just how much of a bimbo he wants. Does he want a bimbo who is nothing else? Can she go back to being who she was with friends and family, or must she still always be a bimbo?

Better that he thinks about this now than dealing with the ramifications later. In my experience, most people who want this have no idea what they are actually getting into. Is a valid fetish? Of course. But they need to decide if they are actually capable of dealing with the aftermath and it's a question that, in my opinion anyway, doesn't get raised enough. The way the OP talked about it, I'm just not convinced he's done any thinking with the right head. Perhaps he will come back and correct that impression. It would be nice.

They usually never do though - not sure why.... i understand your point and i personally would go about an endeavor the way you outlined, most rational people would. He is only coming to a message board and posting what he is into, maybe he thought it through and didn't post about that aspect, who knows. Maybe it's all just a fantasy. Unless he comes back it's all speculation.

I think it's because the majority of Dsers in the hetero world today simply translate all of their romantic ideals onto the Ds format. As long as the same values are upheld, then it's encouraged.

As soon as you start to wade into a value that's not encouraged (like the male dom staying at home all day while the fem slave goes to work for money for the house, or instead of treasuring a woman's intelligence, you try to dumb her down or make her appear dumb), you get a lot of pushback.

i don't think there is anything wrong with wanting a girl that has that appearance, i happen to be one of that '"type"- minus the injected lips, but still along those lines.

What i take issue with is the word bimbo...UGH YIKES and EWWW to that word.

Just because a woman is willing to adopt that look, or has that look, doesn't make her a bimbo. Bimbo has a conotation of being brainless and although there are some who fit that sterotype there are alot who don't.

As for plastic surgery, i have had my fair share and am all for anyone wanting to change something that bothers them about themself. Also if someone is a sub or slave and wants to do something like that to be more pleasing to her D or M then she should.

i also respect anyone who wouldn't want to do that for whaatever reasons they may have.

I agree... and this seems to be one of those things that touches an emotional tender spot for a lot of people added with some social programming. Stepping back and looking at it objectively, its fascinating to watch how it all works. One of the things that gave me pause about my own initial behavior was that I reacted without really thinking. I have no idea who the OP is, if he's sincere or the biggest wanker to ever grace these forums... which he is or isn't isn't the point. What bothered me was I never tried to find out, never looked at his profile, never looked any deeper than the surface of his post... and reacted solely to that. I found myself making a lot of assumptions, which while they may or may not be accurate... they were still assumptions based on the merest venear of the appearance of fact... and I ought to know better than that. Actually I do know better, which is why it particularly left me feeling a little like an ass.

It is interesting though, to watch how much people are governed by ideas, what those ideas may be, and how close this "lifestyle" actually is to the "vanilla." Absolutely fascinates me sometimes.
