Is it just me, or are people actually arguing about, which crooked person should be liked more? If the are in Washington, they are likely slime. If they call it news in the US, they are part of an entertainment company. Links provided as a source, are only valid if the sources of the source hold up.

Good point, Orion.

The real problem, is Fox`s claim that they can alter, fake, make up,or lie about the news, legally. They won a court decision ,that makes it legal to lie.

This wasn`t an opinion or commentary. It was a news story about Monsanto and the use of BGH(bovine growth hormone).Fox wanted the two reporters to lie about he facts in the case.Pre-meditated,stone cold calculated lying.

Fox, they report,you decide.

Or in other words.Fox,they lie, you`re left to figure out what the fuck is the real story.

One used to think that news people had integrity, that`s history.

When I get a chance, I will read the actual briefs and judges opinion. I would like to see what the real issues were. Kind of like the McDonalds coffee case, if you heard it about it, it sounded ludicrous, but when you actually read everything, you saw that it was indeed merited.

Let's revearse positions and it's your significant other that is acting oddly. SO alt-tabs out of chat screens when ever you enter the room, he snaps you you for interruppting him but when you ask what he is doing he says "nothing". When you can't take any more you finally confront him and he says "I don't have to answer your slanderous accusations!". What do you do?

Your question tends to assign actions that I would never do. In this instance, I would never confront him, without proof. That's kind of my point.

I hope you are never in a situation where you need a little heathy sceptisism.

That's sort of a silly statement, considering I'm being highly skeptical of people that make accusations without proof.

They are not running for president of the united states...why would you be sceptical of accusations but accept the excuses uncritically.

Hey, What about Bush...being AWOL, for most of his military service, and desertion charges almost being filed. That is pretty heroic, and going on to become president, taking a flight to board a carrier, with a banner...mission accomplishe', i'd say a hero, who's deserving of much, can not be found like our president Bush. So there.

Not exactly totally on topic but while we're speaking about Fox "News," I wanted to share something from a book I'm currently reading.  It's titled "Fair & Balanced, My Ass:  An Unbridled Look at the Bizarre Reality of Fox News."  Copyright 2007 and written by Joseph Minton Amann and Tom Breuer, it says this on page 11:

"But Fox can be frustrating, too, because its employees are so unswervingly dedicated to denying their true nature.  If your local weatherman dressed up as a Viking every day, called himself Hjort Bjornsen, and told you there was a 60% chance of snow flurries and a 30 % chance that Thor would rain fire and canned hummus from the sky during mid-morning rush hour - all the while claiming he absolutely was not dressed as a Viking - eventually it would stop being cute.  That's essentially what it feels like to be sane and reasonably intelligent and tuned in to Fox News.  It's hard to look away, because there's a guy on TV making a complete ass of himself while saying obviously untrue things.  But it would be nice to get the forecast every once in a while."

I thought that really summed it up, especially the sentence about them doing it while claiming to not be dressed as a Viking.  Admit it already - you're unfair, you're unbalanced, and you report AND decide for the mindless masses of syncophants you claim as a regular viewing audience.  Geesh, we all know it already..............luci
