I was having this talk the other day, and I pointed out that they have been able to design a silicone brain implant granting a person hearing. Requires a bit of training for the person to recognize sounds, but it eventually works.
Resistance is futile, you will be bluetoothed. I am guessing the first Evil Empire to own you will be Apple's new IBrain.
