Cooking is considered to be a females responsibility & duty in a relationship.
So…if a submissive women thus not want to cook for her man, will this make her disobedient or just a typical modern woman ?...LOL
Are there still any submissive ladies who can also cook ?...you know any woman can suck a D*** but to find one who also will feed her man…LOL

Interesting perspective... my father was an excellent cook, taught me everything I know, and insipred my love of cooking. If I really like someone, I bake them Snickerdoodles and cook for them... but they gotta be pretty dammed special for me to really cook for them.

Never mind. I began a rather involved post and then realized it was a lost cause.

Phin...I think popcorn may be in order. Perhaps some wine and cheese as well for the train wreck to come.

Okay, on the off-chance this is a serious question (which I have to doubt, to be honest) ...
Food made by people who can't cook tastes bland if not bad. So does food made by people who don't LIKE to cook. So isn't this a no-brainer? What does gender have to do with it?

You would be the source of mockery and ridicule in all the professional kitchens that are populated 90% by men.

I am a submissive, who happens to be female.  I am also a stay at home mother (which will be changing but still)

My Owner knows this, as do my close friends and family... I Hate to Cook.  I Hate to go Shopping--any kind of shopping...I'd rather know what I want and order it and have it come directly to my home than go browse and shop.
There were many many ugly trial and error meals.  And my "Family Meals" teacher in high school wanted to fail me on the lack of aptitude shown--but couldn't because I had completed the entire course, and passed all the tests. It is so well known among my friends and family that one year, for an actual serious, yet funny gift, I received The Complete I Hate To CookBook .

My Owner says that I cook decent meals--tasty and satisfying.  This means of course that I have found a few recipes that I have perfected over the last dozen ten years or so.  Before that, I almost refused to go grocery shopping for anything more than 30 minutes at a time.  I could make scrambled eggs in the microwave!  I cook now because it pleases Him to come home and eat well after a hard day at work.  I cook now because our children need nutritious food--and I refuse to give them junk food and contribute to any health problems that they may have in the future.

Societal norms (ugh) have given many a view of the world that just isn't fair.  I have met many many men who are much better at cooking than I am.. not to mention fashion sense, decorating, etc.  If it is something that you are good at and can use in your life, Carpe Diem!  If not, but it is something necessary... learn.  In regards to food... we all got to eat.. better to eat tasty food than charcoal.

Kiki

Traditionally. In my experience that's no longer the case - it's whoever wants to cook or whoever is better at it.

It makes her disobedient only if her cooking was part of the agreement of the relationship or she was ordered to. Some men, believe it or not, actually like cooking and prefer to do it themselves.

Hell any woman can feed her man. What the hell is a frozen dinner and take-out for if not for feeding?

As for me, I'm learning how to cook for him but I'm doing it because I want to serve him and he would like me to learn. Not because I'm a woman and we think it's my job for having been born with breasts and a vagina.

Thank you for saying it for me.  I'm a Dom and a professional cook.  I've actually made it very clear that the kitchen is MY domain, sacred ground entered only with my permission or to clean up after me -- for me it's a form of relaxation, like some men use their woodshops or garages.   Besides, one taste of my food is all the proof they need of my superiority.

Can she at least beg for permission to make cookies?

What kind of wine do you serve for a train wreck?

I am extremely good cook but Master makes the best steaks and spaghetti.

That's baking, that's different.  Any chef will tell you, patissiers are weird.   Very rare is the chef who's also a baker, or vice versa.

Why a P(a)inot Noir of course! Or perhaps a Boxcar would be appropriate for cocktails.

It’s a very serious question…if a woman can’t or will not cook for a man, then what did the man actually married ?…a P**** ?

my former master was a chef.  and that sounds a lot like our arrangement.  On the evenings he was at home,  i was not allowed in the kitchen until time to clean up.  And i had to clean up after his sometimes rather elaborate meals,  and it had to be done before bedtime.

i am just now learning how to do some cooking myself.  i had started eating pizza and junk food way too much in the past year or so.  i'm getting pretty good at it too

Not for long, but getting the hang of it real quick.  I found it late, but took to it like a duck to water.... or a Dom/me to a paddle.
