It's quite possible to use a technology to cause one bliss, should our technology advance much further. Say, nanobots, providing chemical stimulus in the appropriate parts of the mind. While this technology is currently beyond us, it wouldn't be beyond a god. Compensations for boredom, any drives or motivations, any lack of happiness- it's not one of those things were someone would grow tired of it, as it alters the very ability of one to grow tired of it. This is to say, it's technologically possible to force perfect and unfettered bliss on one. Well, provided you can keep them alive- you know, feeding and such. And making sure metors don't crash into the planet and destroy it. Or they don't get cancer. (This is to say, one would have to first make them immortal.) But, in the notion of Heaven, people (or "souls") are already immortal, so.. well, that's not a problem. In any case, Heaven could be anything someone who designs it would want to be. And, provided this bit of "bliss" is added in, humans could be quite happy cutting their own bodies into little bits for all eternity. There's no real solution outside of the notion that many things could've been possible, if immortality and unlimited resources were. PS- My typo rate is telling me I need sleep.
