True enough...I know plenty of people my age who have gained little knowledge through their experiences and whose only status is that of loser. Of course, these are generally people who came out of high school or college with more expectations and a "I should have it because I am me" attitude or the attitude that life is a party waiting for them.

To make an assumption that someone is wrong JUST BECAUSE of their youth is wrong...unless it is their youth that has led them to a conclusion that can only be defended with the opinion that they have the right to think their own way and not defended with any sort of facts. You can believe that "BDSM play is wrong and cannot be consensual" ...as an example...all you want but if you cannot back it up with a reasonable argument with facts to back your opinion, then you will be seen as wrong by someone who has the facts to back up their opinion that "BDSM play is right and CAN be consented to by a SANE person".

True enough...for some things. I was 51 when I learned that I had a tendency to be a "white knight" (discussed on here earlier) and I wish I had learned in my 20's that doing that gets you nowhere. So learn not to be a damsel in distress...it may get you some good guys but it will eventually cost you them too. However...you cannot possibly learn what it is like to raise a child to their twenties and get them out of college when you are in your twenties. You cannot possibly learn the lessons taught during that experience because you do not have age on your side.
You can learn from me and other vets what it was like to walk through an airport in our uniforms and be spat upon by the same people whose right to do so we were defending but can you understand the irony? Many people only gleaned that insight with the coming of age and experience and change of thinking.

i am very aware that because of my limited time on earth that i have probably experienced much less than those that have been here twice as long, but i also know, for a fact, that i have experienced ALOT more than some people twice my age.
Number of experiences does not matter...what does matter is what you learn from them to your...and others...benefit. I know plenty of people with more experience than me in some areas...younger and older...who still do not appear to apply any sort of knowledge gained from their experiences.

True enough...though you can understand where most people of an older age than you are going to be able to drudge up a greater overall quantity of experience and knowledge and wisdom due to exposure to, and living of, many things that you do not have experience in yet. Doesn't make you stupid or make the fact that you are young responsible for being stupid.
as far as i am concerned, those that pull the age card suddenly then become beneath my own maturity level. because i know... age is just a number. and i know to not make assumptions.
If it is the only card they pull...without facts to back up what they are saying...you are right. But once they pull out the facts, then if you cannot measure up in terms of your own facts, then it isn't simply the age card they are pulling, is it?

Hey...some of us guys have nice asses too...I can think of one male dominant in particular who has a wonderful ass.
One last note...someone pointed to LA as an example of youth with wisdom. True enough...and an example that, as I said, age does not necessarily mean the accumulation of wisdom or the lack thereof...but if you notice, rarely does LA come to the boards with a comment that she cannot back up either through the facts of what has been posted here before or other sources to cite.
