Just what we need--another inept actor running for president. It isn't enough we have Arnold as governor and had to endure 8 years of Reagan as President. Now Thompson? An inept Senator, a second-rate actor (and that is being generous)---oh well, in the USA, anyone can grow up to be President. Or buy the Presidency! Or steal it! After all, Dubya did it twice!

i like Fred Thompson the actor but i think he is too old to be President. We all saw what happens when an old man is President. There is already a law that says you can't run for President until you are 35. Maybe there should be an ammendment that says you can't run if you are over 65. ed

I like Thompson. He has put out a series of essays that are an excellent summation of old school federalism.
