Just what we need--another inept actor running for president. It isn't enough we have Arnold as governor and had to endure 8 years of Reagan as President. Now Thompson? An inept Senator, a second-rate actor (and that is being generous)---oh well, in the USA, anyone can grow up to be President. Or buy the Presidency! Or steal it! After all, Dubya did it twice!

things sure went down the tubes due to globalism. im glad to be retired. only the super educated have a shot at the good life these days. i get an attitude for being retired early. but thats not my problem. i paid in. now im "free". ideally i can get in the car and go. [except for my damn black outs]

PaHunk, that's true, word on the street is that Starbucks is going to stop hiring people with "only" a bachelor's degree!
Master's Degrees only behind the counter now!
And of course managers will need a Ph.D but they'll be up to $14 per hour.

i like Fred Thompson the actor but i think he is too old to be President. We all saw what happens when an old man is President. There is already a law that says you can't run for President until you are 35. Maybe there should be an ammendment that says you can't run if you are over 65.
