Cloudboy - LOL. Funny topic, though I am a slave type girl and I drive a truck - OK, its a small truck and it is pearly white with gold pinstripes. I keep the tires glossy black, interior fresh and neat . Leather trim polished. I ask guests if they are comfortable. I plan and select CDs that a passenger might especially enjoy and ask if they might like to control the radio. I wish I could have a sportscar on the side. Wouldn't mind learning to drive a motorcycle ; though I love to feel both free and helpless as a passenger. Stick shifts get me hot. ( and no, i don't strap on) The poly train? Sounds like quite a party! and I think surfers rock!

Kit cars: the ones based off Bugs tend to be really bad... That was Car #3 for me in HS - Porsche 356 body kit on a '63 VW frame. Just waaaay too loose compared to the real thing. Car #4 was a 914, with the VW engine tuning tricks done on it. Not bad, but it just... wasn't right, y'know... But I hear some good things about the Fiero-based kits... But I'd look to the head and manifolds for signs of abuse before committing to a "starting point."

I never was much for those little sporty cars,I am near 6-4 and find them not roomy enough,Give me the big ol' pickup with leg room and room to spread my junk all over....Please leave me room for my cb and cooler..on ch 19 as doomsday.....smiles...

See..I think thats why I liked my firebird so much....I am barely 5' tall...and it was the first vehicle I ever drove where I could stretch out and be an arms distance away from the steering wheel, still see over the dash board, and not have to strain to reach the pedals. Most sedan/compact type cars, I can barely see comfortably over the dash. My van and most big trucks, in order to reach the pedals and especially on a standard be able to get the clutch all the way down, I have to sit so close to the steering wheel its both uncomfortable and unsafe. And my firebird had plenty of room for my CB (ch19 gatorbait)...and a cooler. Now..as for what rides in the dog box.....usually a 130 pound American Bulldog........once a small alligator....and myself, twice....I have since hidden the keys from my Sir...was rather embarrasing....

I can't handle stick shift but drive an automatic that's in the floor, does that count? Doms should drive trucks that are FORD TOUGH. Dommes should drive classy vehicles such as PT Cruisers or some such while polys have their mini vans and subs compacts and slaves either compact or cyles, depending on the weather.

ON occasions I have stuffed a slave in the box and take a ride to town,Its sure works well for a humiliation thing,IN my box usually is a reg treeing walker hound either on the way to a hunt or bench show...I am the yaucky type, my brother calls me mr motormouth on the radio....I can tell when Diane has moved my truck the seat is on top of the wheel smile..bounty
