Hello all, interesting thread, not sure where we fit in, considering we own a little bit of everything  3 vans, three pick up trucks two sports cars two sedans mini cars  and two soon to be complete conversion hybrids to include one old harly hybrid.

GhitaAmati -> RE: Cars and BDSM (9/13/2007 11:20:52 AM)

I dont really like the ford cars too much....but I have always been impressed with the full sized trucks....

and yes chelle...riding in a dog box is a bit humiliating...especially when its your own dog box...and the dog is in there with you......

either that or a slacker who doesnt have a drivers license cause he's gotten too many DUIs or cant keep a job long enough to buy a car....who knows.....

hey! i don't have a drivers license, cause it was suspended because of a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic ticked for no proof of insurance (i couldn't find it fast enough for the stupid little suburb make their money on tickets cop) and then i couldn't renew my license because of the warrant...and now the warrant is up to something rediculous like $500 to pay off (and goes up on a regular basis) and i don't even have to go to their once a month court to get the ticket dismissed, because the warrant is now worth more than the ticket...and they got all excited when i asked about a payment plan cause they charge intrest or something when you do that...but i still drive...and i told all this to my doc when he said he has to tell the drivers license medical board that i have had seizures and they will automatically suspend my license for 6 months, and he was like and you're still driving? and i said yep, and he said, i didn't hear that...so umm thats why i am taking the train, because airlines require a valid ID and i don't want to go get a state ID and risk getting arrested for that warrant because i have places to go and people to do....and well...yea...shhhhh...don't tell anyone...i still drive almost every day...being good and not doing it today cause my right side is weak...and its like the stopping and going side...which is why ya'll have to put up with me....

why?  then again i don't find objectification humiliating so that may make a difference...and i like cuddling with my doggies, in fact they get annoyed with me cause i demand it from them too much..lol

Is it true that:

1. Pretentious Doms drive luxury import cars.

2. Manly, cool Doms, like topcat, drive pickups.

3. Worthy subs drive hybrids and compacts or ride scooters.

4. Sportscars are a sign of BDSM insecurity behind a mask of bravado.

5. Domme's who like strap on play typically drive stick-shift.

6. Poly folk prefer to ride trains when possible.

---------

What does the car signify to you or about you?

What about those of us that drive SUV

I say my vehicle says about me:

I live in the north and need a 4X4 to get to and from work in the winter, and I like having the room to haul stuff too lol

I really want a 1967 Stingray rag top tho *s*

GhitaAmati -> RE: Cars and BDSM (9/13/2007 11:28:43 AM)

It really didnt have anything to do with the objectification.....more the fact that everyone I hunt with knows I am reallly picky about who drives my truck...even Sir doesnt usually...and for him to get so frustrated at me cause I was so drunk that he wouldnt even allow me in my own front seat...well....lets just say most of my hunting buddies wouldnt let me live it down for a long time...well...ever.....that and Sir got a kick out of leaving me in there during dinner.....The next dog box I build...is gonna have an excape hatch....

oh..and sorry about the DL shit.....the state can be fucked up sometime....but I really dont equate your situation to the loser comments I made in the earlier post at all....

chellekitty -> RE: Cars and BDSM (9/13/2007 11:31:16 AM)

oooooooh ok....see you left out important details....i see why it was humiliating now...and nope, not at all...just wanted to point out that not everything is black and white...

GhitaAmati -> RE: Cars and BDSM (9/13/2007 11:32:41 AM)

I know..I just wanted to poke fun at Noir.....

chellekitty -> RE: Cars and BDSM (9/13/2007 11:33:44 AM)

oh ok...got an extra stick? i like poking too...

GhitaAmati -> RE: Cars and BDSM (9/13/2007 11:38:27 AM)

A friend of mine has a habit of screaming "I'm sorry for your penis!!!" whenever she sees some guy in a sportscar driving around like an asshole. [8D]

But they sure are fun
really couldn't tell the difference by looking at it unless you where a pro LOL
i want to get another one soon some stupid jerk the principle hit my car and totaled it when i was 18 so didn;t have it to long but hey it was fun

Now why on earth didn't your dad let you drive it LOL.....If my dad had one he wouldn't let me breath on it lol.  It's on my to do lists....but alas that pesky money thing. *chuckles* I can't warrent spending that kind of money....but I can dream [:)]

ocilla -> RE: Cars and BDSM (9/13/2007 11:46:04 AM)

Hmmmm, I don't own a car when I need to drive I use a flex car - a car share/subscription.  I reserve the neighborhood car  go get it ( ashort walk, bike or bus ride away), drive it (all insurance, gas and repairs are included in my $9 hourly fee) and then return it when my time is up. I usually get the hybrid but there is a choice of other vehicles parked throughout the neighborhood like sedans, trucks and vans and such........what does that make me? In my opinion it makes me quirky and an environmentalist. That's not me in the pic btw.

sadisticmaster03 -> RE: Cars and BDSM (9/13/2007 12:31:50 PM)

I drive a four door turck, its lifted with big tires.  Its is not one of those ones lifed four feet of the ground.  It has a modest lift.  I find it is the best truck/car I have ever owned.  It masculine just like me, I am very very DOM.  I had sport cars in the past. I am not a sport car kind of guy.  My truck looks good, is functional can actually sit four passangers and can haul crap in the back and I can tow.  What else does a DOM really need.  Oh, the sub, ya that would be nice., well I got the car. Now  -just have to find the sub.  I would actally love to have to sub and have problems finding a car.
Darn it!!!!!!!!

MasterShibari -> RE: Cars and BDSM (9/13/2007 1:01:27 PM)

What about those of us who ride a motorcycle?

lonlyrossInNeed -> RE: Cars and BDSM (9/13/2007 1:12:38 PM)

I was just messing around but really the only ford i like is the big fat ones that break down all the time like the Lincolnc COntinentals and the Mark8 i use to have
I think i have spent mor emoney fixing my contental in the last 4 years then it would cost to by a brand new car and not a cheap one i was doing my pappers a few months ago for a insurance clame and my reciped added up to about 31,908.89 dollars
in 4 years on that car

Hmm...I take the train but I am not even close to poly.  However I *am* single.  And when I'm with a guy I ride in his car.  *True* subs sit in the passenger seat [;)]
