Status: offline 		When Dom/slave couples walk in public,  should the slave be allowed to walk beside his/her Dom/me, or should they walk behind their One?

Status: offline 		I walk next to him, holding his hand. If it's icy then I hold onto his arm. And I wait for him to open all the doors unless we've come out of a store and he's carrying heavy stuff. His rules.

Status: offline 		lol.  depends on the couple I guess.  I would suggest trying both out. see what feels comfortable for both people.  Personally unless my slave is being punished (also on speech restrictions, head down, and no bathroom privelages, meaning they would have to hold it in during the time we are there. unless they have have a medical problem that restricts that, then I would come up with something else. ) When I am at the mall I like talking with the person I am with, or maybe talking at them. heh.  hmmm I suppose I could bring along a friend for that....and if my slave is male, have him hold both of our packages.

Status: offline 		M never set any rules as far as that goes but i always walk just a half a step behind Him and let Him lead the way. i only walk in front of Him when He opens the door for me or when His hand is at my back directing me. He hasn't said anything about it yet so i suppose it pleases Him.

But it all depends on what your Dom wants also. If there isn't any way He prefers, then walk where you want to walk. Although i don't suggest you walk directly in front of Him, lol

I generally walk next to him. Or I scurry ahead like a little ferret after a shiny thing! Or scurry to catch up because he has longer legs. There is a lot of scurrying!

Status: offline 		Angel and I usually walk side by side.  Or he will sprint out ahead of me, and turn around and walk backwards until he bumps into somthing/someone. Or he will trail behind so he dawdle and look at something he knows Id give him a hard time for looking at. The one thing we dont do is hold hands. Ever. we just dont.

that makes getting anywhere take forever. plus you get scuffed and bruised knees and ppl look at you wierd lol

pretty hard to serve in any other way when you are layed up with watermelon sized knees from the damage and bruising

Status: offline 		Yes the essential answer is "wherever the Master/Mistress/Dominant wants".

Master HATES me to lag behind LOL ... so i am at His side where He can keep an eye on me. Similarly, I like My sub to be alongside Me so it means it's "the 3 of U/us"! Probably looks a bit intimidating to the general public sometimes, so W/we drop back to 2 + 1 or even single file when needed. When that happens Master tends to prod me forward (yeah, reckon it's the asswatching gene manifesting LOL!).

I walk next to MJ while holding hands, unless we are in a crowd, then I walk behind Him, while either holding His hand or onto His jeans or shirt so I don't get pulled away.
 
Should I be allowed to walk next to MJ? Why the hell not?? I'm not below Him, unless He is physically on top of me, then I am. Being a slave doesn't make me any less MJ's partner or equal, it just makes me His slave.
 
In the past I have been told to walk 1/2 step behind my partner and always on the 'inside' as much so that he could potentially 'protect' as much as it was preferance and so that he could open doors, etc. Since MJ hasn't made any 'official' demand or comment on where I walk with regards to us being together, I will walk at His side, where a good slave should be, at her Master's side.
