Since I've come into the "lifestyle", I've been blessed to go to a few bashes regionally. What I haven't gotten to do though is go to events outside the Midwest. I was wondering who has seen some great presenters out there? What classes have you taken and by whom that really sticks out in your head? Who would you love to see but haven't been able to yet and why? I do this because I always try to see new people when I do get to go to the bashes but sometimes you don't know much about them to know whether you should spend the money for flight, tickets, hotel...all that good stuff and I'm sure others out there would love to know as well. So who has tickled your fancy in a presentation and why? Well wishes, Kelika

It has been a few years since we have attended a large event but the best M/s presentation we have seen was done by Guy Baldwin, best bondage presentation by Midori and best piercing and branding workshops by Fakir.... Since we have easily tickled fancies most presenters qualify.... Bill and Iris

Off the top of my head: 1. Jack Rinella 2. Laura Antoinou 3. Midori and a woman named Stephanie (I think) who did single tails at BR a few years back I've been to a lot of demos and lectures over the years, and with few exceptions, I've taken something away from all of them.

we had a chance to go to a small shibari workshop, Midori taught, and she is awesome. it was a small group, not her big bondage workshop, but still very well done.

I second (3rd, 4th!) Laura Antoniou, she's a wonderful speaker. I also thoroughly enjoy Master Larry and slave barb, Sir Stephen and slave catherine, Master Archer and slave Elegant. On top of that, everyone presenting at Florida Fetish Weekend next month is amazing. I will shamelessly plug this event any way I can.

I'll jump on the Midori bandwagon. Her presentations are fun, educational, and interesting.

I don't know anyone specific to the midwest unfortunately, but the ones that mostly stick out in my head are Lolita, Lee Harrington, Travis, Princess Kali, Glenda Rider, slave marsha, Neptune, Jay Wiseman, LthrEdge/Forge. I definitely want to see Midori someday, and all those cool west coast guys.

Add me to the list for a Midori, Jack Rinella and Jay Wiseman, and a long list of others. I'm a bit of an info slut. As for my favorite presenter, I'm a bit biased, since I'd consider Terrell Brown to be one of my closer friends. :)

Midori - Fascinating and funny.. and such a lovely depth of knowledge and history. Mark Yu - So much knowledge, telling you things that really help you tailor your precision pain play to the person you're working with. It seems so simple now, yet he was riveting to watch and listen to. Lochai - Such an amazing eye for detail, putting 'art' into 'kink' is a joy, and he's part of the reason why. Jimmy Tatu / Shevah- The elegance achieved with simple/complex rituals combined with simple/complex rigging. -Solar (Jack Rinella will be presenting in a couple weeks, I'm looking forward to what he's discussing)

This is a tough one, but i'll try....Not in any specific order and an apoligy up front for misspelled names... Goddess Lakshimi, Vi Johnson, Lord Suttle and Lady MJ, Dottie Easton, Felice Shays, Lolita, Boymeat... i know there are more, but those are the ones that stand out in my head. Oh, and my ex went to a class by John Warren and said it was one of the best she ever saw, but i couldn't make that one. Maybe next time.

I had the privledge of bottoming for a deep tissue bruising demo he did at GLLA last year. He's brutal! I had bruises for 3 weeks! lol. It's always nice to see someone smile while doing their presentation though, because they are enjoying it, and he did. Of course it might be because I'm a wuss when it comes to pain! I can take it...but I move a lot and am very vocal!

Wow, a lot of names I don't know which makes it all the more better when I go to look at going to classes! Thank you so much for that! I haven't yet seen Midori, but I understand she is as awesome as those on here have mentioned. I've also bottomed for Lolita at a wax demo which was cool. I've seen Laura (she is so funny and has a great deal of wit). Jimi and shevah are really incredible. shevah is actually in the same city as me and I go to her rope class that she tries to have monthly. I've met Jack Rinella and Jay Wiseman, although I didn't go to their classes that year. I'll get to meet Lee Harington and Master Larry and slave barb at our bash next month and I'm very excited to do that. Travis Wilson is our keynote speaker and I love whips so I'm greatly looking forward to it! Again, thank you so much for all the great input! And feel free to add to it [;)] Oh, and good luck to the Florida Fetish...I hope it's awesome and those going have a great time! Oh, yeah...one more thing. I would LOVE to see Fifth Angel...I mean LOVE. When I read his book, Your Pain My Pleasure...well...blushes...I got quite excited and now it is a MUST to see this man. Well wishes, Kelika

Since I have not seen too many well known presenters I have only a few to offer. Midori was awesome! Beautiful, funny, and this class was hands on so she had my attention the entire time. I also was fortunate in seeing and meeting Jay Wiseman and find him to be a wonderful presenter and fun to hang out with, I love intelligent people. Vi Johnson was also such a nice lady and a favorite at the event I happened to be at.

I've seen a few presenters...and mostly try and make the most of it by doing what I can for a "sit down" in a small group or something...you get to hear SO much... Victoria Gayton, Vi Johnson, Goddess Lakshimi, Fifth Angel, and Matthew Cary, Jarrett "slave2none" Majewski (cuz he's my Daddy) are amoung some of my favorites so far. Each has a uniquely different presentation style and view. And their personalities and passion for what they do shines through.
