Dear Kelika, Ladies and Gentlemen, In regard to your topic of presenters that I would go to all their presentations for, would be--(not in any particular order): 1) Master Tip - He is a member of many quality groups and has much to say that others often skip and would hope to see him present in more conventions. 2) Master Steve Sampson - Another good speaker and also very good with mixed crowds of beginners to senior members of the lifestyle. He does add a lot of Native American Indian healing arts into certain topics as well as other spiritual arts. 3) Master Guy Baldwin - He brings the 'mental' aspects to the lifestyle, in addition to creative communications and skills. 4) Master William (B.) from Nevada -- former slave of Master SlaveMaster (not the SlaveMaster connected to the Mid-west murder spree). Before slave to Master SlaveMaster, he was an accomplished Master in his own right for years. Experiences he has had and makes you feel as if you are the only person in the room when you speak with him. Very humble and gracious man. Another gentleman who has much to share but, isn't in the radar scope like Master Tip. 5) Dr. Leather -- SIR Slade, also current OhioLeatherSIR2007, is new to the presenter's arena however, has much to share as far as medical experience, as he is a neurosurgeon and travels extensively to and from Europe. Dr. Leather aka SIR Slade, would be wonderful in presentations in regard to the techniques in impact and or bondage and or sexual scenes make an underlying impact on the body. I would welcome more medical supporting knowledge, advice and separate the myth and truth to what is safe, safer and when accidents happen--an emergency response geared for the layman. 6) Master Chuck -- currently Mr. NJ Leather 2007, is relatively new to the presenter's arena however, this gentleman has taken a more traditional route or 'classical' route in his journey and becoming 'Final Leather.' I am looking forward to seeing him present, offering insight into his journey from the bottom up and not the easy or the fast route to 'success' and or gaining his leathers. Knowing his own personal frustrations as a slave and now different frustrations as a Master; having a younger man's view's and experiences would be more on target for those just coming into the lifestyle and or BDSM. 7) Master Bert and slave nadine -- International Master and slave 2003, give wonderful views into their lives as practicing Master-slave relationships and married couple. The experiences with relatives, children and other questions about life and growing into a mature setting is extremely needed for those who have similar situations and or considering blending families and or such. 8) Jay Wiseman -- Mr. Wiseman might be 'preachy' however, he really cares about other's personal safety in a huge passionate way. Being an EMT and seeing the possible harm in doing things medically risky--before the Internet and wide web access, Mr. Wiseman wanted to reduce the risks by being aware, using his medical knowledge as foundation for certain techniques and protocols. I can excuse the 'preachy' side due to the nature of his compassion which is huge. 9) SIR Robert Davis - International Leather SIR 2004, Originator of 'Taste of Kink' which now the DC has created from the original "Taste of Kink" --DC Leatherfest. SIR Robert Davis has been active in education of impact, bondage and relationship safety. In addition, SIR Robert is also well versed in pup/dawg and pony areas of the community. In addition to SIR Robert's Taste of Kink, he added International Deaf Leather 2004, Paul "Teddy" O'Rourke to the education exhibition and samplings and other Leather title holders to give their favorite flavors of BDSM. 10) Master SlaveMaster (Not to be confused with the SlaveMaster convicted of mass murder in the mid-West). Very interesting presenter and if you have the opportunity to observe his slave nick in the classroom while he is presenting, you will see subtle protocol signals and slave nick's obediences. It is the 'art' of silent communication which is beautiful. 11) Daddy Ed Moore -- He is a Dominant that is low keyed and extremely active in the DC Leather Community in his own right, along with his partner Steve. Daddy Ed is one of those 'energy bunnies' to which keeps going and going--and going. He has been the first to step up for any fund raising events and the auctioneer, announcer and or Master of Ceremonies. However, he has a lot of experience in his own right in the D/s and or M/s relationship and more to offer other than his skills with the microphone. I would like him to present more on topics of concerns and or interests. 12) Mark Steinbauer - Mr. Louisiana Leather 2007. Serving in the capacity of a Leatherman's representative in one of the hardest hit area by natural disaster; this gentleman is using his strength and knowledge to pull everybody affected and effected by Katrina up in his community. Talking to Mr. Steinbauer at last MAL (Mid-Atlantic Leather in Washington, DC) promises by a few well known local leaders have yet to materialize. I do know when I introduced Mr. Steinbauer to our local leaders, promises were made--nothing has been seen as far as I can tell. Beyond the need for funds raised; I would like to see Mr. Steinbauer present on surviving disasters, picking up the pieces, the myth and truths of 'community support' and what he and his fellow citizens into M/s, D/s and or BDSM and or S&M have learned from disaster, what can be shared, what networking could do and or it's improvements and or any other related topics. 13) Master Kurt and slave john--Already presenters, they have a long term relationship that works and often has them on the run. Going on their tenth year both are wonderful speakers and do not sugar coat the difficulties of life and the difficulties in finding each other and after their honeymoon period was over. Recipe for relationship success has very sound advice. 14) Vi Johnson -- I don't think there is any better advocate and educator for slaves. History is her passion and has been very kind to take some of my materials of historical value and or personal value into the collection for the Leather Archives and Museum. She adds the right amount of humor to make what she says 'stick.' These are my favorite fourteen. Respectfully submitted, Lady Hugs
