I admire a woman who has the courage to look like a woman in this politically correct world. Femininity is a huge turn-on. I don't have a problem with women who want to dress like a man or whatever, but I am simply not attracted to that, and I refuse to feel guilty about it.

This is a funny thread for me because I have, for a long time... wondered if there were classes or something.. that could teach on how to be more feminine.. for myself. I look like a girl. sound like one, smell like one too.. but there is something I feel I am missing.. I must have been absent that day I guess..  I watch other women.. to see what it is... it isnt something tangible.. I can fix most things auto.. most home repairs I find I can do with ease... but oh what I would give to be able to walk in a pair of heels... and look good doing it.. Have a great evening!

Finishing schools teach grace, poise and charm, but you needn't go that far.  There is a set of DVDs that you can purchase online that will give you a good start.

Not every one who does ageplay likes to gussy up in those huge pettie coat dresses and go ultra femme stuff like male sissies do.

greetings bondagetopjere,

i think something like this would probably be subsumed into a larger group - ageplay comes to mind - although i might be wrong.

respectfully,
annabelle.

i love dresses. i get to wear them in the summer heaps. a dress some sandals and go, i love it.

i love beautiful clothes, all kinds. i love jeans, heels, adidas, boots, sandals. i love biker chick, adida track pants with a mans long sleeve t, those kinda hiphoppy ones are cool. tight long sleeve thermal t's feel good. i think women in suits look hot. i have a long standing dream to own a chanel suit one day.

i have a pretty okay wardrobe but i rarely wear the stuff, i dont go out much. around the house, sweats, t-shirts. a friend of mine gave me a heap of cashmere sweaters so i wear them a lot even to bed when i feel cold. i like to be very comfortable and when it is time to go out, i love dresses and heels best. but in he winter not so much.

my daughter was diagnosed with clinical depression and social anxiety.  Seriously it got to the point where we could not go to the mall or a restaurant.  i found a modelling agency that also held 9-week classes on "Personal Development" where she was taught how to walk, sit, talk, dress, and the "final exam" was dinner at an exclusive club.  It was the best money i ever spent and did more for her self-esteem, poise, and confidence than therapy.  6 years later she became a homemaker and a mother and one thing her husband loves about her is that she can be a 'girly-girl' even when helping him set tile.  i highly recommend Finishing School.

Yes, there are, and there are several variations.

One variation is age play. Another is genderfuck and/or cross dressing. A third is just called costuming.

If a woman is simply flexible in her choices of clothing, jewelry, makeup, etc, then she's often not called out or described in any unique way. If her outfits are particularly outre, or if she mimicks clothing from other places, like occupations, uniforms, or uses them to enhance role play or acting, then she may be described as a costumer.

For some women, the distinction between butch and femme is significant. And for some of those, adopting the other side even briefly can be thought of as cross dressing. Except that it they do so frequently, then it falls back into being thought of more as costuming.

There are also many, many women who enjoy dressing in elegant or formal wear. And these also aren't called out as anything distinct.
