My point is that the "negotiation" for the most part occurs during the , getting to know you phase, and once the limits are established the true TPE can commence. I do not see a point of the whole thing if I cannot give up my control in complete trust to the D. Therfore to engage in a LTR in TPE a reconciliation on some level must occur.

A submissive obeys and serves by choosing to do so each time and retains his will. A slave initially makes a choice to obey his M at all times and then submits to the will of his M at all times. It is not unusual for a submissive to start the relationship with rules and limits and release some or all of them as trust, respect and love for her M grows. In fact, it’s a good practice when starting any new relationship.

Bottom line, I guess is that I should include some language that says extremly willing to learn to please.

Back to the profile: I agreed with what a few people said about it sounding kind of bossy.
That can be summed up in sub versus slave.
Sharing what you think the differences are for you between being a sub or a slave is an excellent suggestion as many have differing opinions and it is very important to know upfront where you think you stand. And, trust and openness comes over time, or it isn't a good match.
