The former I have never come across.
I'd be interested in talking to a money dom, just curious questions n such. Like... do they pay taxes?

Status: offline 		Money Domme's thrive for the same reasons strippers do, or Chippendales do; because there is a demand for them. It's really that simple. I'm just envious because I haven't been able to figure out how to be a Money Dom, as there appears to be a deplorable lack of women looking for this.

Status: offline 		Well depending on what you mean by 'money dom/mes'.  If it's someone who wants to be paid just to chat and you don't like it - grow up, get over it and move on.  If it's a woman who wants to be paid to play with you - why not?

You require certain things of a sub for them to be able to play with you - most likely blow jobs.  So you want to be paid in blow jobs.  What so wrong with a woman wanting cash to play?  Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black.

What we have is an exchange.  If you want to play with me you have to ____________ give me a blow job, take a beating for me, wear a gass mask, spank me hard, give me anal, give me cash.

So what I am hearing is that its ok to buy play with sexual currency... but if cash is requested it somehow 'perverts' our lifestyle.

I've heard it all, really I have.

If people are sending them money, they must be doing so because they're getting something out of it, right?  Otherwise why would they do it?  Are you familiar with the concept of supply and demand?

If the process is truly so abhorrent to you, perhaps you should consider focusing your bile towards the people who keep the machine running, those who SEND the money.  If no one was sending the money, the "scum" would be out of business, right?

Status: offline 		Well, camille, feel free to report both of us...I have reported some whose Profiles were outright ads, but I haven't seen any action taken about it...
FullCircle, I just look best in earth-tones...My whole wardrobe is dark shades of green and beige, except formalwear, which is black and gray (cliche, but only popular enough to BECOME cliche because it WORKS!)...At least I'm not wearing blindingly-bright neon colors...
Second, the shirt may be "awful", but oddly, it keeps cool in hot weather, and in cold weather, it's covered over anyways, so noone cares...Hell, as long as I'm clothed, I don't think any of my customers care anyways! (I'm a computer-repairman, I DO buy and sell computers, but at cost, so my money is made in REPAIR, not sales!)
And although computer-repairmen don't get the same respect afforded doctors, mechanics, or plumbers, would you rather pay for a computer-repairman, or a self-glorified prostitute?
And if you don't consider it prostitution, then what about stripper?
Again, don't D/s people have enough people trying to ruin their image without doing it to themselves?

I’m sensing you have an inferiority complex. The main rule of this lifestyle is that of respecting other people’s kinks. As long as there are people that want to be financially dominated then it is a legitimate part of this lifestyle. An outsider’s image of the lifestyle is of little importance to those in the lifestyle that is why the lifestyle exists in the first place; based on the main rule I have already mentioned. Put simply the lifestyle exists to give those that are harmless but aren’t understood by mainstream society a place to feel welcome.
