Have you seen actual pro-dommes?

They aren't all a bunch of supermodels. What they do have, however, are good customer service skills. They don't whine about not wanting to do another flogging or indulging in a kink that they find boring. They suck it up and play whatever part they are being paid to play. They also have the spaces, the toys and the equipment that most people just can't afford to plunk down the cash on. If they can get people to pay for their services, more power to them. If you get people to pay to listen to you gripe about this, more power to you.

To the OP, if it isn't bothering you personally, what's your problem?

Also, do you know that actually paying for a ProDomme is PREFERRED by some subs/slaves and that IS their kink? Who are you to knock someone elses kink?

ProDommes are ProDommes, not prostitutes, just like paying a hairdresser to cut your hair isn't supporting prostitution. It's a profession just like any other. Bloody good luck to them.

Mind your own business.

edited to add that prostitution isn't a problem for me either, bloody good luck to them too.

I'd like to jump in on this, just because I've spoken with quite a few subs on the issue. I don't have a problem with Pro-Dommes. I actually have visited one twice in my own quest to be a good Domme. I don't believe in doing anything to my sub that I haven't had done to me. This suited my purpose, but she was also willing to have some conversations with me.

My only issue with the ones on collarme comes from my a couple of submissives with profiles here. Many of these Dommes demanding money or tribute aren't up front about it. I know one submissive who would get in conversations with Dommes he was interested in, only a few conversations down the line to find out she wanted tribute. If you are a Pro Domme or you are one who demands monetary compensation, be upfront from the very beginning. Some subs are into that, and that is great. But the ones who aren't are often offended because they get interested and then they get told about this particular kink or fetish after they already have some type of emotion invested. That's not fair. It's actually patently unfair to let a subs emotions get involved and then start holding out your hand for money. We all know that once emotions get involved it makes it harder for one to say no.

whats curious to me is the apparent gender discrimination. ive yet to see a male dominant ask for tribute.

Depends on how you define tribute.

Some male dominants demand sex within the first meeting - some people would call that tribute. I've seen male dominants talk about wanting tribute, but it usually isn't money.
