I'm not skinny, and I'm not a bbw - though I've been called both.  I'm overly rounded in a few places, but its nothing that a good Victoria's Secret bra and a pair of AppleBottom jeans can't fix.

My own personal preference is a Dominant that is taller than me, and stronger than me.  That is not to say of course that I haven't been attracted to someone who is shorter than me or weighs less than me.  I have, but I haven't had the urge to submit to him.  His prescence didn't command my obedience.  I don't know if that is because of his personality, or physical attributes. It might be both.  Though I have little experience, I think I am pretty aware of what kind of person brings out my submissive nature, and its someone who is taller, and stronger than me.

Perhaps some men feel the same way.  They need someone who is physically smaller and weaker than they are.  I can't explain the psyche of men, but that is what I would hypothesize.

Sounds hot.  That has just never been my experience (which, sadly to say, is rather limited).

But, it is to each their own.  Each person has their own preferences.

Wow, several hours and not one single response. Apparently, older bbw women are only in high demand with male subs, not male Doms. Sadly, it appears there is a huge double standard.

*shrugs* We might have sad something but you said older not just bigger. Valyraen does like women around his age, but he clearly prefers women with meat on their bones.

Well, pregnancy is considered high risk if a woman is 35 or older. In 8 months, I'll be 35. I would say being less than a year away from that 35 mark qualifies me as an older sub.

If you attended our munch group, you'd be the youngest one there. You were only 33 just 4 months ago. I wouldn't call you anywhere close to an 'older' sub. Maybe in about 10 years you'll be only a few years away from being an 'older' sub. ::chuckles:: Girl, enjoy your youth while you still have it. Don't be so quick to jump on the Social Security train.

Please tell me you're joking. You're defining "old" based on some arbitrary BS formula that OBGYNs created?

Wow.

If you want to call yourself old at your age you go right ahead....it fits with your past behaviour pattern. For myself, I am 45 and won't consider myself old for another 55 or more years. Life is too god damned wonderful to be pissing and moaning, especially about something as insignificant, and impossible to control, as age in years.

I don't think of myself as old, just older. There's a difference. I also don't have a negative opinion of myself because of my age or for any other reason.

It's than 18 and younger than 50. I wouldn't define 34 as older though. I mean, I guess if you feel old at 34 you are but otherwise... feh.

Okay DBG, let's just say that for the sake of argument you do not have the negative opinion of yourself you are being accused of having. We will just accept your words at pixel value.

BUT...........it would behoove you to consider the fact that you are perceived as such. Therefor, that affects how people react to you. WHICH will affect the quality of the people that find you attractive.

SO.........all of that being said. It really doesn't matter if you do or not, you give off the vibe that you do. Which means that there is still work to be done on your part. Change how you speak and act, learn to emote the positive attitude you argue that you have and things will improve. Because, unless others believe it, it may as well not exist.

Since when did "high risk" (which is wacko anyway) pregnancy become the dividing line designating who is older and who isn't? Ye gads. I have no issue considering myself "older" but that's cuz I could be your mother.

Just cuz..... My sister had her kids when she was 39 & 40. Her pregnancies were normal to the extreme. Her deliveries were fast and pretty simple. The kids are normal and very, very healthy grade-school aged now. Being over 35 does NOT mean that one would have particularly high risk pregnancies.

Just my thoughts...........

Let me put it this way: In the two years of my journey as a Dominant, I've scened with BBW submissives/slaves, but my personal preference is one who has a slim to curvy build. But no matter what size, color or level of experience, what is more important to me is their honesty, committment, dedication and what is in their heart as a submissive/slave.

I agree 100% with FNF on the age thing. As far as weight, I don't think it's very difficult to understand, either. The vast majority of women desire men who are taller than themselves, this is simply the flip side of the same equation. Size = dominance. I want to be able to genuinely, physically control a woman that I'm dominating. I want to be able to pick up a woman and toss her over my shoulder.

my hubby is 5'6" and 138 pounds.  i'm 5'2" and probably in the 170 range.  he *can* pick me up and toss me over his shoulder.  just an observation.

I can see where you're coming from with the age dynamic, but what about the weight factor?

Okay, let's talk about size and weight. In many circumstances or situations, the biggest person takes the lead. Let's look at Comic Book Heroes. How many Super Heroes have a side kick who is taller or bigger than him? As kids, the elders we are taught to respect are typically bigger than us at the time as well. On a psychological level, we can call this correlation or association. Other than follow the older person, we may also conclude to follow the bigger person as well.

Many women perfer to have a man who is taller than herself. A submissive male may find it easier to submit to a taller and larger woman because she can truely pin him down where it would take  a good bit of effort to free himself.

When it comes to having bbw submissive, it's a matter of preference. After all, the more cushion, the better the pushin. Most here are already aware that I perfer Lane Bryant well over Victoria Secret. However, that does not mean that my partner needs to be tall and large enough to have the leverage and weight needed to pin me down untill I say uncle. The majority of my past partners have been curvaisous but only averaged 5'4 in height.

Anyhow, it's not impossible for a dom to never have the respect and obideance of an older sub who is also larger than them. But for doms and subs alike, there may be a few psychological bumps to roll over based on up bringing.

I'm taller tham my Husband and a few years older as well and let me just say it doesn't effect anything, I've also gotten a bit more curvy in a very feminine kinda way and he finds me hot.  He likes the roundedness of my hips.

Where age is concerned, I often forget that I am the older one, he has an old soul, he feels much older then he is. To me he feels like an ancient god, all full of masculinity and grace, he just feels older.  I on the other had feel younger, I often giggle that I'm a 17 year old trapped in a 32 year olds body.  I'm playful and silly and just very girly, we complement eachother.

As for the height, I'm sure he'd like it if I were an inch or two shorter, but it's not gonna happen and it doesn't stop him from being able to dominate me, or toss me about or rule over me.  He's just got oh so much more physical strenght then I do.  If  we were to have it out he could so kick my ass, which he would'nt do since we don't have it out, but I think you can get my point.

I feel each person has something that is theirs, that makes them sexy, I've seen skiny girls and fat girls, muscle men and men with girl arms, and someone out there will find each one of those body shapes sexy.  If fluffy doesn't do it for you, so what, go find yourself a skinny girl and leave the fluffy ones to someone who finds it hot.

I guess what I'm sayin' here is, what does it matter if Dom A doesn't like fatter old subs?  Dom B or C is gonna come along and LOVE a fluffly girl.  Fattter, older, slimmer, younger, it's gonna be someones thing at some point, so why get our panties in a bunch if someone doesn't like them.

We can't help what turns us on, I personally do not like blonde hair blue eyed guys, but there are some girls who adore them.  I don't think it was the point of the Op, but I have noticed a trend to make posts about people not finding something or someone attractive, like its a bad thing, like "how dare you not like a fat chick?!?!?"  I say, so what, who cares, we should not force people to like things they don't like, or at least we shouldn't judge them. I'm sure each one of us would have a preference about something, eyes, hair, freckles the list goes on.

Just me thoughts.
