Personaly my sub males and slave males have to have a strong personality. I do not like the door mat kind, or yes dear, what ever you say dear, kind.. yuk. As far as size well.. being an amazon myself I like larger men naturaly. It is damn rare I feel dainty standing next to well.. anyone. An ex sub of mine was almost 6'7 and about 350 of solid man. Pain slut like you wouldnt believe... I loved topping him, and over powering him when he least expected it. leverage and proper training are useful things.

Some Dom males esp Gorean ones have all sorts of issues with sub males. Females.. esp prime females are in short order.. and you are just taking up yet another female they could be trolling around for. The poor poor babies. Do what makes you happy, love as thou wilt, and screw em if they dont like it.

Gwyn,
who has a Goddess bodied girl, a athletic male martial artist sub, and a skinny Englishman for a slave.
Darn it where is my Adonis?

Thank you for your reply MsLilac.

It' not so much that I feel that my submission would compromise my masculinity as much as I feel the external pressures from others and that is what bothers me. I have come to except my ying and yang nature. The submision and the masculinity and I have come to accept them, I had to. I have known since I was a teenager that I was a natural submissive when it comes to relations with the opposite sex, so I have had a few years to deal with this. (At first I was scared and didnt know what was happening, but that is perhaps a discussion for another time.)

I think im just going to have to suck it up and do what makes me happy. ;)

It would be easy for me to say it doesn’t matter what other people think. But really, it doesn’t . Denying a part of yourself, and bowing to external pressure would make one a ‘follower’, wouldn’t it? Not a leader. One would be submitting falsely to that external peer pressure, to me, that is ‘weak’.

Just something I wanted to pick up on, and think maybe you missed as a point I was trying to make. You said “The submision and the masculinity”, describing them as ying and yang. They really are not polar opposites, I think LittleSarbonn made a good point in his post.

Submitting doesn’t mean you are not masculine (I actually consider it very masculine). You don’t comprimise masculinity by submitting yourself to a Lady. I get the sense that you are equating dominance and masculinity as one entity, which is a very outdated caricature of one narrow element of masculinity.

But anyway, good luck and really do what makes you happy

i find big boys perfect for those early morning piggy back rides to fetch the paper.

Some will see the physical aspect as a challenge and try to tip you over.

And some will simply want to know if your cock is proportionate to your body.

As for others seeing a big guy like me as comical, God i hope so, really i do.

Comical doesn't begin to describe the quality of laughter and entertainment the chia plant/pet thing provides on these forums.

It is very common for people who are in power in their daily lives wanting to surrender control to someone else just to get a "break" from it all.  We see that a lot in the FemDom community.
Now, as far as letting everything roll off your shoulder and not bother you, as soon as you figure it out, how about letting me know.

Good luck and Regards, MissSCD

I agree that it is difficult to be a slave to dominant women in this society.  Men are supposed to be strong and be leading the pack, not following.  I've been most successful getting my partners (who are not dominant and quite vanilla) to spank me.  That is mildly satisfying.  I've found a couple of pro dommes who better meet my needs, but are expensive and temporary.

Finding a Domme who wants a relationship with a man who loves nothing better than worshipping her is difficult, to say the least.

This is exactly the kinda of fella and situation I seek.  As to how to handle public perseption...well, with sensitivity.  At times it can be our secret....if it will effect things that are important to us negatively...such as out ability to influence world peace or UN policy or global warming...I am exaggerating a bit to emphasize that I mean the big things...more realistically I mean our ability to have a meaningful and healthy lifestyle or to be effective in the things that we believe in....however, our power exchange and D/s dynamic being a secret does not mean that he can suddenly be a completely different person...like be uncommunicative, boss me around, be an asshole, be disrespectful, not be thoughtful, not consider me first or not check in with me so we can figure out a workaround if need be...the level of trust between us to do the right thing will help navigate challenges and eventually challenges may even cease to be.

I love a strong fella in personality, character and in physical presence...this is a big part of what I enjoy being powerful and dominant over....my fella has to be a strong as Me in his essence for our relationship to work.  Only a really strong man can submit t a woman in my opinion.  And strength goes beyond being physically strong, strength takes lots of forms.

I love what Ocilla says here and agree with her. *waves hi to Ocilla*

As long as you accept yourself and connect with Dommes you like, it will be much easier to handle any outside negative reactions.
Personally I do not like the Gorean mindset, as it goes contrary to my beliefs. I live a FemDom lifestyle and it is the only way I am happy. I do not associate with Goreans in my personal life. They have their kink and their philosophy which is almost diametrically apposed to mine. To each their own.

I respect a strong male sub. He has to be strong mentally, emotionally secure and very centered to be a really good sub for any domme. This takes a lot of inner work for most. Real time is the only way to continue to develop as a sub, or a Domme.

I have gotten to the point where I don't give a crap what other people think of me. I am being true to myself and creating the life I have dreamed of for so long. I take such fierce joy in being who I am. I now relish in the things that used to make me feel ashamed. Before I fully accepted who I am ( a kinky FemDom) and was able to do these fun things in real life I thought I was weird and resisted the Real Me. Now, I have fun with it all the time, everywhere I go, and anyone I see in public is an opportunity for me to expand, be a catalyst for others, and make my little mark on the world.

I have the utmost respect for slaves/subs with high self-esteem and a submissive nature. Yum!

Let us know how you do with all of this please.

while feminine men are cute and fun at times, I would much rather have a cuddly puppy/teddybear, that kneels at my feet.

It seems to me that you are having the same problem that many people have - they associate personality with role. Submissive in role doesn't alsways mean meek or quiet in personality, Dominant in role doesn't always mean aggressive and outgoing. Once you can seperate these in your mind, your self acceptance will be much easier.

I do not care for the arrogant machismo tenet that drives so many men. I find it limiting. It seems that so many men pat one another on the back and give a thumbs up as long as they are living within this tenet. It's like "the man club" or something. Submissive men break out of the "man club". They realize there is more out there and want to learn and grow in other ways and I find that commendable.

...now that's a great way to put it!

I think sometimes that people in general don't realize that the fantasies men have don't always revolve around them being macho studs with the upper hand or banging a room full of women.

....hit the nail on the head there!
