The other way around, Celeste.

I'm not here for them, Celeste.

I'm here for those whom I seek.

And I have found there is a larger group with whom I have things in common than the little gang of troubadours who tour the threads singing the "Bobby's Still Here - Waah!" blues.

Bob, I can't even express here what I think of you eluding to a private correspondence in this thread.  Suffice it to say, I hope if I find myself compelled to join in on one of your threads again, that I delete my CM account first..

I am curious as to how many times you've said this when submissives talk about the "wannabes" who have written them and what was said?

Or someone seeks advice by telling people what they were instructed to do through correspondence?

I hope you are as firm with all of them as you've just been with me.

On edit:

Come to think of it, isn't it odd that I've referred to support through correspondence several times without you commenting on it, but I mention Velvet's collarchat 'enemies list' as sent through correspondence and you respond thus?

Rather selective, isn't it?

On 2nd edit:

Come to think of it, if you took that attitude towards all private correspondence, that would include anything anyone reported about another person, be it through conversation, phone call, letter, chat, email, etc.

Every time someone asks for help they could not report any of the details regarding what the other person said (or did?).

Descriptions of conversations with past lovers or current suitors would have to be avoided (and I am not even speaking of quotes, as I've neither quoted nor paraphrased anything out of my correspondence with Velvet).

Bit stringent, don't you think?

If someone was told to do something wrong by an off-line individual, how is this someone to come here and ask for guidance if no one is willing to participate in a thread where a private conversation is described?

You don't see it, do you Merc?
By issuing challenges to a man whom you claim to be more pathetic than you, you merely prove yourself to be a bully who picks on weaker men.

On the other hand, if I am a man whose qualities you must conquer to prove you are the superior man, then you've already acknowledged my superiority, in which case it would be cowardly of me to accept the challenge of a man more pathetic than I.

Either way, you've lost the contest when you issued the challenge.

For either way, I am not the coward who picks on weaker men.

AAHAA!!!!!! True true so true. Shame that they just like something to bitch about nothing because they have nothing better to do with their time. Really. I hate it.

Queenie,
Bob pontificates and when challenged doesn't respond. You call asking questions "bitching". You two kids need to get together.

Bob - Divert all you like. Why attempt to impugn or insult? You display your weakness I have never pointed it out directly; only quoted you. Your failure to respond directly speaks to your weakness. It wasn't even a good attempt to distract. Just the usual name calling and attempt at insult.

Consistent childlike display and concern about being wrong is consistent. At least you've moved on from your blocking - unblocking to peek routine. See how easy it is to be mature. Words really can't hurt and getting emotional over the internet means you've been on the internet too much.

Now its about winning and losing a game? Responding to your own inconsistencies would indicate that I won? Failure to respond means you won? Maybe you can work on that part of being mature next. I'm happy for you if having people agree with you brings you satisfaction. I know of some kids who have contests to see how many 'friends' they can get linked to their 'MyWay' page. If having internet minions is your goal congratulations on your achievement; even if those minions are a result of your own "writing skills".

The problem you'll have in real life is that observation is more precise than following your contradictions in threads. Seeking an weak automaton may work for a time. Being a weak person lacking confidence who can't address his inconsistencies requires such a individual.

Standing up for believes is part of being a Dominant. Devaluing it as you do is the equivalent of every participant in the little league getting a trophy even after finishing in last place and never hitting a ball with a bat. It devalues the award for the winners as well as the failures. Like it or not people win and lose. To win it helps to have convictions and having strong defense for them at any challenge. Machismo isn't an insult - Cowardice is.

Thank you for you continuing aversion to responding to challenges to your inconsistency. You prove the point.

Wow, and here I thought that these were discussions.....I never realized they were contests. What's the prize?

Maybe a trophy that says "Twue Master" or "Twue slave".

Machismo is a self confident, self assured, poised man is sexy. Machismo is an arrogant, self absorbed, pompous man is disgusting. So, I guess it's not the suit, but the man who wears it.

When my brother was in the forces he used to say, macho men cry first. I have to say I've seen nothing in my life to contradict him, macho men seem all mouth and no trousers to me.

Oh and vain, macho men are more vain than queens!

Sighs, chocolate...all my Mother's Day Godiva's are gone. Now i have to wait for the three pound box my son in law always sends me for Christmas.

On the bright side we have the 22 pounds of assorted chocolate we bought for the trick or treaters.

That could probably be arranged. Perhaps a mix of dark and milk chocolate... I'd join the contest for that!

You bitch! I see how you are. You buy all the chocolate and throw big parties when I'm not around! Bet the next thing you tell me is that you're going to be making Frozen Toasted Almonds too. Uh huh....I got your number.

I just gotta say this...well, actually Kahlil Gibran said it:

You talk when you cease to be at peace with your thoughts;
And when you can no longer dwell in the solitude of your heart you live in your lips, and sound is a diversion and a pastime.
And in much of your talking, thinking is half murdered.
For thought is a bird of space, that in a cage of words many indeed unfold its wings but cannot fly.
There are those among you who seek the talkative through fear of being alone.
The silence of aloneness reveals to their eyes their naked selves and they would escape.
And there are those who talk, and without knowledge or forethought reveal a truth which they themselves do not understand.
And there are those who have the truth within them, but they tell it not in words.

"The Prophet" has been a very influential source in my life:

And a man said, "Speak to us of Self-Knowledge."

And he answered, saying:

Your hearts know in silence the secrets of the days and the nights.

But your ears thirst for the sound of your heart's knowledge.

You would know in words that which you have always known in thought.

You would touch with your fingers the naked body of your dreams.

And it is well you should.

The hidden well-spring of your soul must needs rise and run murmuring to the sea;

And the treasure of your infinite depths would be revealed to your eyes.

But let there be no scales to weigh your unknown treasure;

And seek not the depths of your knowledge with staff or sounding line.

For self is a sea boundless and measureless.

Say not, "I have found the truth," but rather, "I have found a truth."

Say not, "I have found the path of the soul." Say rather, "I have met the soul walking upon my path."

For the soul walks upon all paths.

The soul walks not upon a line, neither does it grow like a reed.

The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of countless petals.
