Okies here is my question of the day.

WHY do some here feel it is vital that they hijack a thread and turn it into a personal tit-for-tat against someone, having nothing to do with the OP?
Too many good threads are being disrupted this way and it is driving me bonkers. It makes me want to holler at them and I'm not the hollering type but ohboy I want to know WHY!

Oh dear oh dear.
I'm going to try to answer this one gently, so people keep asking me questions.

There are three reasons:

1) People get caught up in their message board conversations. It just doesn't occur to them that they might just message the person they're talking to. Sort of like how you might message someone all day before suddenly realizing that you can just ask for their IM screen name. These people are the ones I have the most tolerance for, personally.

2) Horny people respond dramatically to flirtation. All it takes is "you're a cutey!" and someone has to respond to the best of their ability in a way that shows everyone how charming they are. This is also relatively innocent, because ususually we are more reserved in reality, and the internet brings out our most flamboyant reactions. I find the whole thing similar to birds of paradise.

3) People want attention but don't have the right stuff to earn it. It's like those people that wear funny t-shirts like "you're the reason I'm on medication" or "my imaginery friend thinks you're crazy." They're attention getters, but in my experience when you start talking to them 4/5 times they have nothing to say. So these people are just swell at replying to posts, but all too often they don't actually have anything to contribute. They lack relevance or suave. I recon these are the people that annoy you most.

Ultimately though, sometimes a message board functions a lot like a conversation. Sometimes you stay on point and sometimes you get distracted by an off-topic bit. Some people just naturally feel they have to react to everything, and a lot of people would argue that we're all being too uptight when we fret over the disruption of a thread. That's just the way things work.

By the way, you're hot.
LETS CYBER.
lololololololololololololololololol.

They annoy me too sometimes.

If you have a physically abusive partner that punches you in the kidneys, and then aplogizes with flowers and all you say is "that's sweet."

Oh my, now there's a question I wouldn't think I'd ever answer! Believe it or not, no, I do not have an archive of baby pictures anywhere about me.
And if I did, I'd hesitate to put them up anyway because, I dunno. I'd rather people associate the name of Jinger to the sex icon I am now then the cute-adorable-baby icon I was back in the day.

And yes, I am a sex icon.
Didn't you know?

I'm a prince too.

But I can tell you, without any boasting, that I was an incredibly cute baby.

There is no meal I enjoy more than eating spaghetti at home with french bread. Hands down.
But when I am away from home than Indian food almost always hits the spot...though I find the food tastes different with each new restaurant...

Meat meat meat.
