I'm watching Geraldo interview some victims, Governor Schwartzenegger, and other people. One shot showed a mobile home park where all 150 houses burned. One guy that he talked to said that he wanted to thank the Red Cross for all their good work. The Governor said that unlike hurricane Katrina things are going along very well between federal, state, and local governments. And from all reports Calif. is much better prepared than Louisiana was for emergencies. They seem to have a lot of Firefighters and Police in S. Calif. And they also said there are no shortages of food, toilet paper, pet food, diapers etc. And there are 10,000 people in that stadium and there is peace and order and everyone is being fed and cared for. And you can't help but feel for the people who lost everything they own. And they mentioned that there are plenty of volunteers to help out in the stadium getting children involved in games and crafts, helping cook food etc. That's good, volunteers make a huge difference in emergencies like this!
