The Wayne Davis Band of course.(Sorry Master i could not resist)

Wayne Davis is our neighbor, he and his wife are our best friends. The fact that Scooter plays bass guitar for him on Thursday nights might be a part of it, lol.

They band had a joint Halloween party with us last Saturday.

I have to tell you, the guy plays an amazing guitar.

Oh yes I've listened to most of side 2, and I like every song, so far. Excellent vocals, solid song structure, and some nice Joe Walsh guitar.

I didn't like buying it at Wal-Mart, though.

I haven't heard a couple of those, LA *makes notes*. The rest are indeed prime music. "Miss America" is another good one.

The Strokes... their first two cd's are amazing! Blur, the Stone Roses, the Killers, Sonic Youth, and the Smiths are also in my cd player at the moment. 2007 hasn't really been a good music year in my opinion... all the music I bought this year is older music, nothing new. Of course it all depends what your tastes are:)

The Cure and David Bowie are my one and only, even though there are two of them. LOL. Right now, though, I can't stop listening to The Faint and She Wants Revenge. She Wants Revenge is fantastic for scening to. It's dark, it's hypnotic, it's got a hell of a beat and the lyrics will make your blood boil with pure lust. Mmmmm...*shiver*.

Edited to add: Cheers to Coemgen! You and I have very similar taste, it would seem. I adore The Killers, and you can never go wrong with The Smiths. I could listen to Morrissey croon all day long. Add some Modest Mouse and some Death Cab for Cutie to that list, and you're on!

The Pat Travers Band at this moment, been rocking to a live import CD of them this week. I have about 50 favorite bands. My top big 3 are Sabbath, Priest and Maiden.

I haven't listened to everything myself- my partner has made me three "best of" mix CDs so that's where most of my exposure comes from, I still haven't listened to Brave New World.
