Clearly your education didn't include the importance of not standing in the way of bullets.

Try simlulating the experiance; have some one randomly jump out and shoot you. try dodging bullets at less than 3 feet when you have no idea they are even coming at you. If you can you have brown eyes, cause your full of BS.

Oh and thanks MercTech for the rifle names. And yes AR is a Amrulite product.

Then stick to what you know, you have extensive experience with a very narrow range of weapons all of which, due to your training, you have great faith in.  Every soldier in every army is taught to have great faith in whatever POS they are handed.

However, that narrow range of experience coupled with that almost religious faith in one design undermines greatly any credibility you have regarding providing expert commentary on other weapons.

Actually, AR was the designation Armalite used when they still owned the design.  Armalite hasn't built any for about four decades.  You are confusing the modern "Armalite" company which has no connection other than paper to the original and who doesn't own the rights to the AR15 name.

Wow, let us bow to your vastly superior experience.

Duh, so can anyone else who has even the slightest clue about armament and operations.

So what's someone with your superior troop identification skills doing in Kentucky playing Jr. Bounty Hunter, aside from collecting scrap metal in the torso, that is?  Perhaps a change of 'career' is in order.

Also, why don't Americans--soldiers AND police--confiscate and use enemy firearms and ammo? Other than the reliability bonus, the sound would be the same as enemy troops, so the enemies couldn't home in on the "different" noise of American weapons...and the possibility of making it LOOK like enemies shot each other, since the dropped shell-casings would presumably be AK-style...Sow confusion among enemies, save money!

It makes for logistics/supportability hell, that's why.  If you're overrunning scads of enemy every day and stealing their ammo, fine and dandy.  Otherwise you've got to provide for them oddballs.  And then there's the prospect of being gunned down due to mistaken identity (your fellows hearing an "enemy" gun firing.)

Damn.  I  missed the tearjerker part!

How about some sour gummi bears?

Or dried habaneros, for folks who want some spice in their life?  That'll bring tears to the eyes of the folks who missed the tearjerker part...
