Escargot.  (This was where I had that same reaction that one of the other poster's did, to having her toes sucked.)
Just nasty.

i wish i wouldnt have gone through physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, two rapes, and an abusive first marriage.

if i had though....i wouldnt be who i am.  so while those things were horrible, they contributed to who i am.  and having literally more than a dozen friends reassure me over the last few days that yes, i am a good person and that i DO deserve good things has helped me immensely.

and Daddy says i am a perfect person to him, no matter that i am insecure and much in need of petting.

kitten, still shaky

Meeting my ex-boyfriend 10 years ago. I really do wish I had never met him, as that relationship is still having an impact on my life today.

Everything that has happened to me has been for a reason. Even the things that broke my heart, hurt me, made me yearn for something else... everything that has ever happened to me was for my further growth in this life, as such I have no regrets anymore. I would not have said the same thing only a couple of months ago, but I truly know that All is Well no matter what happens to me or those I love. There is no reason to feel guilt, recriminations, or regret for anything.

I am at peace for the first time in my life as a result.. and I live in the Now... and I have much more joy too.

Can I ditto this a million times?

Having gone through hell and back, I'd do it all over again just to get to where I am today.

Ok but that oyster shot at Mikuni's really seemed to have served no purpose...I suppose I'll see its benefit some day...heh.

The oyster shot possibly stalled you from leaving a split second earlier thereby avoiding a head on accident... it served its purpose...smiles

LOL Ohhh so THAT was it!!  Then thank God for the slimey little bastard at the bottom of a Sake glass!

BDSM related: Snerts, drama, a painful breakup, passing of mentors and friends and over inflated egos.
Non BDSM related: The passing of close family members and friends. The state of the world today.

My first Owner passed away, right after we announced our engagement. A bad breakup with a Daddy that I love and wanted to spend my life with. It takes a long time to recover from both.

While I understand that there are those who believe we walk preordained paths or that karma is guiding us, with all respect, that does not mirror my beliefs. I believe we have the gift of choice in a universe of chaos. I believe there are always different paths that we can take, but usually once we start down one, the others disappear and we can not go back and find them. I don't believe there is someone for everyone. There are too many people who die alone and lonely. There is injustice and inhumanity in the world. There are lots of mistakes to make and very few perfect paths. So, I can regrets things that happened and wish I could change them. My son, while recently living a miracle of a breakthrough, had to live in painful isolation for years. I love him and wish he could have a perfect life. My little girls had to be so watched and cared for, I hope there were not spoiled and than nothing ever returns to hurt them.
With all of my beliefs, I'm an optimist. I believe in the strength and growth of mankind. Someday, we will grow enough to deserve this wonderful universe we inhabit.

Umm, gods. Just off the top of my head, my list is a bit extensive, and I'm sure I could write a book entitled, "Life events that did nothing for me and could have gone without."

Overall? I'd have to say, collectively, I wish I wasn't so lavish with my emotional investments in the past.

that you wish you hadn't? and why

When  I showed my Daddy this thread, he gave me a quote which goes "The only thing worse than failure
is regret."...I thought I would share it.

I regret nothing in my life. Every experience makes us who we are today. Everything i have been through has brought me here and i have learned some hard lessons - but they were necessary for me to learn.
