I am new here. I joined 10/29 I just started posting questions.
One person here started to attack me. And then another joined in and then two more joined in..
It was obvious (to me) that the subbiebullies were just trying to amuse themselves.
I never want post a question here again!
I should not have been made to feel that way.
I never want anyone else to be made to feel that way.
But I am willing to bet MANY have felt that way.
I have seen nasty posts ALL over this message board. Nasty judgemental, illnatured, unhelpful, harmful, and completely rude!
When I see it I am seriously going to start start saying something
If I think they are just being ignorant I will try to educate them. If I think they misunderstood something that was said, I will try to clear it up for them and if I think they are just being downright nasty..well, I will voice that opinion.
Generally people come here for help. If you are going to be unhelpful and rude... stay out of it.
I encourage all here to read this story It is somewhat related.
It is called
"The Mouse Trap".

I agree with you somewhat I have seen it a lot. I always try to put in my posts that if you dont have anything helpful to say please dont say anything at all, but sometimes people have ad things to say about that as well.

People are jerks here. Acutally, people are jerks everywhere. Think of it like a bond that ties us all together. A great, big, ribbon of jerkery that winds its way around the world. If you've been to high school, then you know that all places have little groups and cliques. All you have to do to get over them is to realize that the popular girls are generally the ones who get knocked up under the bleachers and end up fat, 40, smoking too many cigarettes and serving some lard ass whilst they pop their prescription meds and discuss their multiple operations.

Success! I'm also a jerk.

People can say whatever they want. They will say what they want to say, that is part of the beauty, part of what makes these forums interesting. If you say something here and folks dont respond the way you like, telling them how you want them to respond is not likely going to really help, I feel. It is also fine to vent your feelings, to express what you would like to see, how you wish to be treated. Sure it sux too when someone is rude and it is difficult not to take it personally or to feel outraged, or know just what to do with that outrage you might be experiencing.

This is all a learning experience including what happens here on the boards.

If people only say what I want to hear, there's no point in my bothering, is there?

It also doesn't much matter what people say if nobody's really listening anyway...

You DO realise that this is a worldwide BDSM site full of freaks and deviants (apart from me of course), and not a kindergarten? If you can't cope, stay out, it's that easy.

No one has to play nice. No one WILL play nice. And the more you bitch, the harder it will be for you, I guess. But that's your problem.

The perceptive minds finds many things of use-even from the otherwise useless.

In many instances, some of my greatest insights have come from some of those who superficially would seem to offer the least. Even if it was only about what to avoid.

Exactly.

This is a place that delights in bitch slapping nannies-deal.

Welcome to a semi-anonymous public online forum.  You have no control over what people say.  Some will be mean, just to be mean.  Some will be very frank and say nasty things to you, because that is how they feel.  Some might even give you good advice, but carefully maintain a sarcastic and condescending tone.

You have to grow thicker skin, or stay away.  Simple as that.  Whining will only encourage people to make fun of you.  So grow claws and a carapace, or stay in the kiddie pool.

I agree with most of your OP however sometimes you gotta just move along and reply with something they really cant respond to and wish them well..or even better ignore them  *grins*....But as stated above by others not all the replies are gonna be something you agree with or even like I am sure you know this...But fact is people are territorial why they feel they need to be on forums beats the heck out of me....I personally could care less if you been here for 5yrs or 1day.... length on a forum probably only proves you can help navigating the format but nothing more.  In any event welcome to CollarMe.......

Some wise person once said something about superficial/hasty judgements... I couldn't tell you who though, or what they said... I was too busy beating on nansy pansy 'let's be nice to people' folk...

I am a very open minded person and always welcome peoples constructive criticism and advice even if it's not what I was hoping to hear if it's done in a polite helpul and courteous way. Many on here are very rude or come off as cold when they give advise especially if they know or think it isn't what the person wants to hear or if they disagree with something.
