ORIGINAL: deadscout It seems as a switch, I occupy a relativly rare place. It seems far removed from what is considered the average male, especially when you consider how many people are not into BDSM much less a switch. I'm wondering what the odds are of finding love or if I should just give up on it. I am not a Mistress, but felt compelled to reply anyway. I do not think you can ask this question. It is too much like asking, what are the odds that I will win the lottery or that I will someday walk on the moon. You cannot ask for love; it is not something you can buy or seek out; it is found. And no one can give you odds on it or they are just lying or trying to appease you. It does not matter what you write in your profile either; you can write I am looking for love a billion times and it will not matter unless you are lucky enough and put yourself out there enough, to find it. This applies whether you are a switch, Dom, sub, slave, vanilla, blue, green, purple, whatever. Not enough people put luck in there as a big part of finding love; I have seen it a million times, people who walked into a supermarket and met their husband, a woman I know never once answered a personal ad at age 54 and had been celibate for 9 years. She just married her soulmate. Others search forever. There is no answer unless this was just a philosophical question. Oh, I am not being negative, just providing another realistic viewpoint.
