 Mine and I are coming up to a very special time in our relationship and I would love some thoughts or insights from you so
I have a few very vanilla questions to pose. If you would please stop and think back at the time when you lost your virginity,what would have made it more romantic,memorable?Would you have added BDSM into it or removed it if it was there and why ?

Status: offline 		Being as my first time was quite amazing, and relatively recent, I can say it went by perfectly.  It was romantic, tender, and it happened exactly as I was ready.  I'm very glad I didn't lose it to a Vanilla person.  BDSM was there and I think it made it that much better.  Of course, throwing all of that aside, what really made it memorable as it was with somebody I love and cherish.  It will always be special to me.  I don't think it could have happened any better.

Status: offline 		My first time was totally vanilla and was two people fumbling around and very nervous. I still enjoyed the whole experience and never regretted it.

I do not think I would have liked to have lost my virginity in a power exchange way. Looking back I like and think it might have been important to have these two things start of separately and then merger together. I think this might have given me a better perspective on both of them in knowing they are both separate and together at the same time in me. I am not sure if my first experience of sex was power exchanged what would have happen in my sex life. I just know I have had many wonderful non power exchange sexual encounters/relationships I might not have had if I just had tied the two in from the beginning.

Status: offline 		I don't mean this to sound harsh or unemotional; but quite honestly, the only thing that probably would have made my first time bette was if I had cared about it being my first time... as it was, I was at a state in life that I just did not care one way or another.

Status: offline 		My first time was with a boyfriend who had dumped me 2 months prior but we had remained friends. I cared about him and decided I cared for him and wanted to lose it to someone I knew I had feelings for.
I look back and I should have picked a diffrent time to do it since friends were around the same house and had a clue what we were doing and tried to spy on us *laughs* Jerks!
but it was very Vanilla and not romantic at all but I dont regret it. I think that your first time should be mostly vanilla just to get the mechanics of it down. Then you can incorperate more and make it better from there.
I think the best thing is to not have high expectations that way however it turns out at least its still good.

Status: offline 		I have to admit my first time was very good.  There isn't anything I would change about it.  It was a warm summer night...tender, romantic, loving, passionate, sweaty!  There was candlelight, soft music, and even though it was with my first owner, there was no kink involved...pure vanilla.  It was a really special night.

Status: offline 		Ahhhhhh memories!  My first time was all the best cliches----parents out of town, cook dinner for girlfriend, soft music, wine etc.  It was basically planned--she wore matching panty/garter set and we did on my Mom's livingroom rug in front of the fireplace.  I was "kinky" at that point but didn't really recognize it yet as a must for me.  I'm glad that it was relatively conventional--there has been plenty of time since to experiment!

I don't know if that answers your quesiton, but thanks for letting me relive a nice memory.

Status: offline 		For me it probably would have better if I knew then(at age 14) what I do now at age 50 and not being so scared about it hurting. I lost my virginity to a nice apple pie type guy who was a year older than me after a high school dance in the back of his dad's pickup truck....

Status: offline 		If I could have changed my first time, it would have been with someone I actually wanted to be with, rather than someone who just hapened to have been all over me. There was no romance, there was no fireworks. We got swept up in the freedom of being away at school, and no one telling us we COULDNT do things anymore, and it went farther than either of us were really ready for.  Not that I regret it, but I would have changed it if I could have.
I dont consider my rape to have been losing it.. the list of things I would have changed about that is a novel, but the first consenting time is what I consider actually losing it.

Status: offline 		The first time HMMMMMM......LOL i wish it was with my Dom i have now....It would have been diffrent than it was..I actually lost my virginity to my husband YES YES people.i was married a virgin...I know hard to imagine these days and age of sex everywhere.LOL....... Status: offline 		haha.  theres a few things i would change.  i DEFINITELY wouldnt have lost it in the lighting booth of the theatre, when i was supposed to be rehearsing monologues with the asst. director.  and definitely not on that old ass couch up in the booth.  and I would change the fact that it was completely text book awkward in every sense of the word (im talkin elbows hitting jaws, knees hitting stomachs, we were a mess haha, awkward silences in the middle wow.)  but i wouldnt change who it was with.  he was an amazing friend that taught me a lot while he was here...hey may not have been a bf, or whatever, but we had a special love for each other.  and that will stay with me forever and for always...

Status: offline 		My first time was totally vanilla but i remember it like it was yesterday.  I was a virgin he was experienced (at least one of us knew what he was doing).  It was not as romantic as i hoped but it was pretty good as far as those things go.  The person i did it with, i don't regret that at all.

Status: offline 		I parted with my virginity after some pretty intense BDSM play, and, looking back, I think I would have removed at least some of the BDSM elements (specifically, some of the humiliation and the golden shower).  I was very emotional from the BDSM and, well, there were some problems with the sex that I might have reacted to differently if I'd been less emotional.  But, hey, it was all very memorable, if not romantic.
