I was reading some mail and when I refreshed the page I noticed the controls had a new 'skin' to them. Is this just me or is this 'new skin' appearing on everyone's view? I hope CM isn't modifying the controls to this new bland scheme. Its taxing on my eyes! I want the old controls back![:@][:'(][:o] Hey CM programmers - What are you thinking? Please, tell me this is a fluke.

It just did it to me too. Looks like crap to me, but perhaps it's temporary.

I started to start this thread, some of us are getting older, and the tiny font is harder to see. I think it probably is permanent though..... I guess I will need a magnifying glass soon, when I come here.

Oh, not always. Typically I like change - especially if it's silver, or gold...wait, that isn't what you meant, huh? Change is good when it's for the better - not when it's for the worse! This most certainly is not better.

I have to agree this font is not only harder to read but is also extremely bland . If my opinion matters to any I agree to have it changed back

Trying to be nice to everyone, you don't have a choice over a paysites font, why would you here? And is it so bad it will keep you from coming to the site, honestly???

I don't think anyone is demanding that they ahve a say on the font. But if someoen has a gripe a complaint, or just wants to roll thier eyes, it's nice to know if someome has the same opinion There's nothing I can do about the fact we still have George Bush Jr. in office for another year, dosen't men I can't gripe about it or like being in the company of others who feel the same way

Well, in all honesty, CollarMe may be free, yes. However, we the patrons visit their sponsors links which helps fund the site. So, we do pay for it, just indirectly. One would think that they'd like to keep their customers happy. No, I won't leave the site over it - but, if it continues to get smaller, I may not be able to read it and thereby would have no interest in coming, so it could eventually lead to that. Certainly CM wants us to be happy, no?

We have all see changes here before, they don't always stick depending on the public acceptance or non acceptance. Maybe they will change it back, who knows?

And if they do change it back, because of enough people griping over it, I will be one of the first starting a new thread jumping up and down in glee! That's all this thread is for. A small hope that CM takes our opinions into consideration.

I actually like this format much better than the previous one plus the blue/almost gray background looks lovely compared to the brown everywhere look from before (all I need is a Zune to make it complete lol). Having said that I do agree with others here that it's people's page refreashes that support this site with the ads and it would be nice if collarme had more interaction with it's members (i.e. a site comments and suggestions sub-forum would be nice), the option to opt back to the old site skin if the user preferred that one etc. This is the only site I go on (and I don't pay for access to any website/forum) where the controllers seem completely detached from it's members. Do we even know who is running this site and why?

The font is a bit small and smooshed on some of the buttons - like "add to favorites," and "send pictures" - but otherwise I really like it. If legibility really is an issue for some, they could try some higher contrast spaces on the layout. But then again, nearly black on a very light gray seems pretty high contrast to me. I say "well done!" [sm=applause.gif]
