The new look clearly lacks in color composition and i wish they would decide on a font.  Three different fonts is disconcerting.  yuck.

Am i wrong or is received mail also changed?  i had enough trouble trying to manage before;  do i have new functions to learn or old ones to find?

Recieved mail also changed, deffinently. While it's nice to see the collarme team working so hard on improving I do ahve the feeling like the op says, the colours and fonts have gone haywire.

loulou74 -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 2:41:22 AM)

I am with you on the three fonts sexypet. It does look messy. I think someone has only done half a job. Maybe they haven't completed all the changes yet. Time will tell.

soultoshare -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 4:16:00 AM)

Well, considering the old home page for me had dark navy blue icons with black text, the new page I have is a blessing......I couldn't see the text at all!  But since I'm not sure what everyone else's looks like, I don't know if it needs changing back.

sexypet -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 9:25:52 AM)

wah, the New Messages color is not a bright red anymore.  It is this burgundy brown color.  I am going to miss how excited i got when it said it in red.  Used to make my heart race, i am so easy.  lol.

kc692 -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 6:39:42 PM)

I'm not sure if it's because everyone has their display set up differently, but mine is MUCH clearer and crisper.

farglebargle -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 6:45:26 PM)

Hey, the CSS is fucked up. None of the text is sized correctly for the background boxes in my browser. The layout isn't flowing right.

Looks way better if I just turn the CSS off, and see the basic layout.

(FF2/Fedora 8)

kc692 -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 7:12:33 PM)

I'm on IE so that may be the difference

LadyLynx -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 8:14:43 PM)

I like the new format and not having trouble reading, but I hope for the sake of those who are having trouble, they improve it, change it back or something.

kc692 -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 8:43:17 PM)

Wish there was a way to do both, it's MUCH easier for men but as I said, I wonder if the browser has something to do with it.

farglebargle -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 8:45:16 PM)

Could be my monitor resolution, too. I run 1280 x 1024 with a minimum font size in Firefox set to 16. ( Otherwise the text is unreadable )

Anything "You know Who" is far I'm against...[image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m9.gif[/image]   fonts too small ...please bring the old scheme back

kc692 -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 8:57:37 PM)

Mine is 1024 X 768 with font set at medium in ie, and its wonderful.

edited to add:  I didn't know I could set font size in IE till recently, or any other internet program, and it helps sometimes on certain sites to change.

farglebargle -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 9:47:06 PM)

I gave up 1024x768 when I moved up from the 17" Monitor to this 19".

So, that's a *possible* cause. Insufficient consideration to various sized display devices.

sexypet -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 9:47:24 PM)

i get a headache every time i load collarme now.

w a h.  Improper use of white space.

did i say w a h? [:'(]

kc692 -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/15/2007 9:54:31 PM)

Well, if I'm not mistaken, there have been more changes in response to some of the users, so some should see a difference

Well, I'm  poor Girl, I have the traditional 17, although it is flat screen(not panel, dont i wish, lol).. but they have made more changes fargle, see how it does now, with you tweaking it.

farglebargle -> RE: CM Page Format - Question and Rant (11/16/2007 5:42:50 AM)

Still not spacing text right. Oh well, it's most likely a limit on the toolkit chosen to do the heavy lifting.
