"Less" fake is a relative term. Without a barcode, you simply won't scan at the checkout counter (we still buy and sell our slaves at auctions... right?).

A winnar is me! I am teh non-f4k3!

I am the very model of a modern newbie dominant
I troll the CM profiles and look for pink ones prominent
To the ones under forty years I e-mail my collar demand
And should they fail to acquiesce a fake sub I must therefore brand

The ones over thirty must obviously be hideous hags
The ones under twenty-five may also need discrete paper bags
And all of them don't understand the truth of lifestyle D/S
To my collar they must submit and my desire they must address

To his collar they must submit and his desire they must address
To his collar they must submit and his desire they must address
To his collar they must submit and his desire they must addressaddress

I've seen Indiana Jones use a whip, it doesn't look too hard
And anyone who disagrees is a faker vanilla 'tard
In short, across the profiles and lifestyle predominant
I am the very model of a modern newbie dominant

In short, across the profiles and lifestyle predominant
He is the very model of a modern newbie dominant

That is absolutely hilarious.

i useally ask for a phone call to verify and if its a man every excuse in the book is given,if its really a woman then by the 2nd or 3rd e-mail i do the call just to make sure via voice recognition its really a woman,yes i am a man.also women tend to type a certain way and men another.i can tell you of a minimum of 14 fake women who are men in CM right today

JNoyes -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/30/2005 5:13:40 PM)

Oh Caitlyn---you look remarkably similar to my friend Ashley who lives in Williamsport.
She has a pic that looks just like the one you're using; hers is quite real and matches the real her.

Please forgive me if I'm incorrect and you just happen to be her long lost twin, but since we are on the subject of fakers if the pic isn't of you why not just leave your profile blank.

Thanks
Just looking out for my friends
Jeremy

caitlyn -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/30/2005 8:15:55 PM)

Why not post some pictures of your friend so we can see. :-)

I have hundreds of pictures of myself ... pictures when I was fat, pictures when I was a kid, pictures when I had black hair ... all sorts of pictures. I have pictures of myself wearing a Katy High School cheer uniform and even some pictures shot in front of a pretty recognizable place in Houston. I even have a Texas driver's license with a picture.

And if she was gonna steal a picture...wouldn't she pick someone cute? ;-)

Now, if you are going to revive this thread, there needs to be less questioning Caitlyn's realness and more TaggardPalooza!

We could also do a poll on the real motivation for that post.

I wonder what it could be???[;)]

quietlilone -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/30/2005 9:08:46 PM)

I was going to post something here, but got lost in my thoughts of what would actually be going on at TaggardPalooza. Do they make that much wax?

JNoyes -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/30/2005 9:14:04 PM)

looks just like you and
similar suit yes?

she has one that has glasses and a pose just like yours...as well

...Ash has had a bad run in with BDSM in the past and this stuff scares her witless..it kind of made me pissed when I thought someone was using her picture...my apologies for being hasty

luvdragonx -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/30/2005 9:43:07 PM)

Ok, yeah, the resemblance is uncanny. That's kinda freaky. Even the background is similar.

If the image was larger, I could look more closely at the light spots on the front of the jacket..........

caitlyn -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/31/2005 6:38:51 AM)

I'm not sure what game is being played here, but ...

That picture was captured off my sister's webcam somewhere around Christmas. I have the full sized versions, and there are four others taken at the same time in the same outfit. I also have maybe 20 or 30 others shot in that room ... because it's my bedroom.

I gotta ask, dude. Does Ashley from Williamsport appreciate you naming her on a public forum like this? And posting 'her' picture and associating her name with that picture? As opposed to asking the member in question privately about the image? I mean, since Ash has had problems with BDSM before, I don't see how this is doing her any favors.....

Delvin -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/31/2005 4:17:26 PM)

Where to begin here...

Years ago, before the internet, finding people who met your needs and desires was a difficult task (not impossible), and most people worked together to reach the desired needs of both or more in the relationship. The Old Guard is a prime example of what has been ripped off of them to give today’s M/s "fad" new terms and labels.

Let’s talk about "fads". We see it more now then ever before and always growing into this beast, that... "I'm gay"..."I'm bi"... this idea that is cool to be a certain way and announcing it to anyone who would listen. Let’s be real blunt here for a few moments. Many... many ... many people have been brutally beaten, jailed, asked to leave their community, harassed, dismissed from their jobs, disowned from families and killed for being gay, bi. It’s not something "cool" to be, it simply IS the reality of the person and their way and beliefs. This trickles down into this lifestyle, though W/we are still so completely taboo you can't just walk out and say, "I love to torture my woman at night"... or any other clever tag. This, like anything else "rebel" is seen as a nifty fad for some of people, something "to do" while your with your circle of friends. Fads have a tendency to kill like rumors.

Many people fight daily to attempt to get lawmakers to see the rights of ALL people on this planet. This fight will continue for many years sad to say.

The Outing Police.
We have all seen them, the desire or need to be many things, special, important, "part of the gang", again what ever tag you want to use. To out someone, simply to call their bluff is no better then outing someone who is trying to keep their private life secret and then destroying them because you felt the need to out them. This is a VERY fine line between common sense and responsibility to others and simply sticking your nose into someone else’s business. A cruel and potentially dangerous, abusive Master... should he be outed ?...How about a slave who uses her body to prey on less experienced people to get what she wants, money, items, bills paid, then leaves... Out him/her ?....

Sad times we live in now with less and less respect for one another on a general basis of simply calling someone you don't know Sir or Ma'am... or perhaps keeping the door open for someone coming in behind you... many examples... sad times.

I guess the main reason for this rant is W/we as a whole need to be very careful how we proceed with "spotting a fake". Because I let me slave do certain things that may not fall in line with the "Masters Handbook", does that mean I too am a fake ?... A personal responsibility for each others safety and well-being is always good, but that too can be carried too far. We may mean well, but the end result is pain and suffering to someone else. Be careful out there, be smart, and be human.

D
