Oh yes yes yes...and you know that my forum persona has little to do with how I am in three dimensions.

True, though frankly I've never really understood the point of that. Why pretend to be someone that your'e not? Pretty much anyone who has met me in meatlife says that I'm just who I appear to be online. I can't imagine trying to cultivate a persona that wasn't true to who I really am. *shrug*

It isn't pretending, or even cultivating a different persona. This is a part of me...the snarly, nasty, sometimes rude, sometimes childish, sometimes petty, part that doesn't see the light of day anywhere else. I love the flames and the snide comments. I really don't care what people from these boards think of me...I never have trouble making friends in real life. Though it can drive those who do know and love me to distraction...they don't get it either.

Oh no...I've been blocked!!! What ever will I do???

Someone hold me...someone cute preferably. Maybe someone submissive with a stong desire to be a slave. Yes...someone cute who wants to be my slave...hold me.

*wink*

Will that meet the Godwin requirements???

This thread needs to be put down for its own good...

Drops it,and guesses that everyone else will as well,if you ever decide to start this up again.

OK, I am loathe to defend Wussissname, but he didn't start the BS about his site. Originally this thread was about how you spot a fake and someone else decided to start nagging on his site. The site itself seems to be pretty useless and unlike a lot of people in this thread I give most people way more credit. I think anyone with half a brain can figure out that the information on the site and the "Verified" stamp of approval is useless and will move along.

Back to the original point of the thread: anyone who sends me a "hot story" in either the first or one of the first few emails is someone I put a big X through. Trying to impress me with some lame story you either ripped off some website or (even less impressive) wrote yourself is so not going to do it for me. Next!

stef -> RE: Spotting a fake... (8/13/2005 10:21:16 PM)

No, it wouldn't neet the requirements for Godwin, but it's funnier (well, as funny as any conversation about the perpetrators of the Third Reich can possibly be...)

For me, it's the ones who respond asking for details on exactly how you would do X with them. They want you to be very complete and detailed. I think wanker and move on.

It seems to gratify you to think of people as predictable little automatons. Enjoy it.

Hello, looked up the DSM definition of Narcissist lately?

Yes...you wouldn't think you could get much comedic miliage from those guys. One might even produce a musical comedy about them just so it would be a financial flop...maybe. *wink*

Long ago, I was chatting with a woman, cybersex.... and she told me that her breasts were size 37C.... unless I'm totally brain dead.... I dont believe that bra size exists!

am I wrong here? I dont think so. I thought that second... ok, this is a man.

Yup...Narcissist. From my self description on my website: Educated, articulate, affectionate, passionate Narcissist.

Diagnosed in 2003. My mother believes the childhood trauma occured when I was 4 and they left me with some neighbors for a month.

Elle believes I use my diagnosis as a sheild...she's probably right...that's just what a Narcissist would do.

I figured. You show all the classic signs. Best of luck with that.

Speaking of the third reich, did you guys see The Producers? I nearly peed my pants (okay skirt), it was so funny. M

Thanks! It is actually a rather easy thing for me to live with...it can be a bit hard on those around me. After I was diagnosed, things made a lot more sense...and I have a bit better understanding about why I do things.

There is no cure, but I tend to be a rather well-adjusted Narcissist.

Read: This is your excuse to bow out and not answer the questions you conveniently ignored.

As for the narcissism, good luck with that. Like all other things that have been pointed out that might be a negative thing, you've decided to gleefully embrace it as if you controlled it, or accept/revel in it. You don't control it, it controls you.

If you are a narcissist, I can see why. People, who only know you from a website, make it a point to hop all over your nuts, and argue with you over basically NOTHING. If you and your concepts are so lame and unimportant. . . .what does it make the people who sit ALL day with you on their mind???

Face it Taggard, you are a supah star!!!!
